Adam Ridler
Sport was always something Adam had a passion for, leading him to study Sports Science at university, initially focusing on strength & conditioning and performance enhancement, but quickly developing skills in other areas.

It was whilst studying that Adam’s other passion emerged, as he was introduced to rowing. He went on to become part of the Great British Lightweight development squad, enabling him to work alongside Olympic champion coaches and athletes.

Working with people to help them move well and understand their bodies is something Adam particularly enjoys. For him, what brings greatest satisfaction is working with people to overcome barriers, unlock their potential and understand what makes them feel their best brings.

Adam is a hugely experienced fitness professional. In addition to spending many years as a Personal Trainer and Dynamic Reformer Pilates instructor, he has also worked in corporate wellness, teaching employees to become more active throughout the day, and understanding both the short term performance and long term health benefits this brings.

He has also worked in the emerging and increasingly important field of Exercise as Medicine, leveraging the latest insights and data to demonstrate how exercise can be an important element in the prevention, treatment and recovery process for various illness and diseases.

By keeping an eye on the latest research and key opinions Adam believes in following the best practice and evidence based methods to continue to move forward with his skills and teaching methods.

Away from the studio Adam will most likely be found outdoors, ideally on the water, and whenever possible, competing at major national events.

Cinzia Prenza
Cinzia is a Pilates instructor with a huge passion for exercise and fitness. Her determination, enthusiasm and motivating approach come from her experience as a former professional dancer.

She has been working with movement since she was five years old, at first with rhythmic gymnastics, followed by ballroom/latin dance and ballet.

Afterwards she spent much of her career working in retail as a store manager and visual merchandiser. Having London for work five years ago, Cinzia was looking for something to keep her active. She turned her attention to Pilates – her experiences as a dancer having already convinced her of the benefits – knowing about the benefits. The more she learned about the method, and the more she saw results from her own practice, the more impressed she became.

It was then that Cinzia switched careers, got her qualification as Mat Pilates teacher and decided to share her passion for movement.

As an instructor, her purpose is to help people from all walks of life to feel better, achieve better posture, relieve pain, move more efficiently – and most importantly feel confident and aware of their own body. She believes that a strong, healthy body is necessary for longevity and happiness.

When she is not teaching you will find her practicing Pilates, Yoga and Pole fitness. She is also a massive fan of art, street art, dance and nature and she tries to spend most of her spare time in parks and holidays by the sea.

Georgia Heaven
Georgia graduated with a Sport and Exercise degree from Loughborough University. Her degree gave her valuable scientific-based knowledge on the latest clinical and exercise research.

You can expect your sessions with Georgia to be scientifically researched and tailored to your needs and goals – endorsing the approach that exercise is medicine. Georgia takes a behavioral approach to her clients’ journey with Ten, creating progressive and individualised exercise programs to help support long-lasting lifestyle change.

Georgia's expertise and infectious energy make her a great and motivator. You’ll come away from your sessions with her not only moving better and with more confidence, but also armed with the information and insights necessary to support you on the changes you’ve set out to make.

Outside Ten, Georgia is a passionate and dedicated Kickboxer. She credits her keen interest in human anatomy and nutrition as key factors in helping her become UK National Lightweight Intermediate Champion in 2019 and gain her Black Belt. When she’s not in the Studio, Georgia can be found kicking a punch bag honing her skills and training for her next competition.

Gurdev Hanspal

Having completed a BSc in Sports Therapy, Gurdev is now in the process of completing an MSc at St Mary’s Twickenham in Strength and Conditioning, so it’s no surprise that he is able to call upon a breadth of knowledge and range of coaching methods in order to help people achieve better mobility.

 

Having previously worked with a multitude of athletes in the disciplines of Track and Field, Football, American Football and Rugby, he’s also no stranger to performance enhancement and it’s also extremely important that he is able to ensure his clients reach their goals.

 

His interest in Pilates stems from its connection to the central nervous system, which controls the body’s movement. Gurdev has found that by incorporating a range of equipment, including the Reformer, into traditional Pilates exercises, he can teach his to create, embed and maintain better patterns of movement. This means that he can enable his clients to achieve their fitness goals whilst reducing unnecessary strain on the body, and helping them avoid injury or discomfort.

 

When it comes to his own body, he has always had a keen interest in contact sports such as Boxing and Muay Thai, and he’s recently started training in the discipline of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under multiple world champion, Braulio Estima.

 

Gurdev admires Braulio as a great master of the sport, who has helped him to focus both his body and mind using similar principles to the ones that underpin Pilates.

 

It’s these principles that have helped him improve his own ability to control his body during movement, from the core and trunk through to the extremities, even under fatigue. He is now able to understand how to control his body from proximal to distal aspect. And he enjoys nothing more than transferring this knowledge to his clients.

Gabriella Tonini
Born in South Africa, Gabriella grew up with a passion for tennis, achieving full colours at school. She went on to coach younger children, which was her first foray into teaching and sharing her knowledge. Seeing others make progress as a result of her input was incredibly satisfying, and this remains a strong driving force in Gabriella’s training focus.

Gabriella’s mother ran an established Stott Pilates studio in Johannesburg, and as a student, she gravitated towards it as another outlet for her increasing interest in training. She completed the Stott Pilates courses in Matwork, Total Barre and Reformer and received her Stott Pilates Instructor Certification for Total Barre, Matwork Essential & Intermediate. Gabriella then moved to London in 2020 to continue her career in Pilates.

Being an extravert, Gabriella loves interacting with people – particularly in a class environment, which stimulates movement and energy. She thrives when she’s able to help others focus their minds on their bodies, and in turn improve mobility and strengthen the all-important supporting muscle groups. A true people person, her genuine interest and care for clients ensure a fully rounded and enjoyable workout without any risk of injury.

“Working with people, exercising, improving the movement of our bodies and sharing what I know with others is what I love to do, so here I am ‘living the dream’” says Gabriella.

When Gabriella is not teaching, she still enjoys her tennis and new found love of gardening.

Dario Genovese
Dario has always had compassion for others. Driven by his desire to help people improve their quality of life, he has worked hard over the years to develop his skills in order to make this his career.

After graduating with his Sport and Exercise Science degree in Rome, Dario took the opportunity to complete his European Master of Science in Health and Physical Activity, which allowed him to study the principles of exercise therapy in the clinical environment. Through this, he came to understand just how beneficial exercise medicine is in multiple areas – from the improvement of mental health and the preservation of cognitive function in later life to the prevention and management of cardiovascular and respiratory conditions.

To expand this knowledge and deepen his understanding of these conditions, Dario trained further with a BACPR course, liaising with other professionals at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust at the same time to improve his ability to apply cardiac rehabilitation principles in everyday practice.

Using this experience, Dario always looks for the best possible ways to enable clients to achieve their goals, and overcome any barriers and limitations they may be experiencing as a result of life-changing events.

Dario Genovese

Luke believes in making exercise and enjoyable. His motto (which we thoroughly approve of) is “Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy”.

In his spare time Luke likes to spend time in Berlin, where he enjoys the city’s art and music scene. He is also a keen runner, and takes part in weekly 5 km park run events. At present time, Luke has a personal best of 18 minutes which he is striving to beat.

She pursued a career as a professional dancer, graduating from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, and completing an NC in Dance Performance at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance. Later, her dance career took her into the world of circus, in which she graduated with a Foundation Degree in Circus Arts, specialising in Dance Trapeze. Catriona spent many years sharing her love of dance and circus, working as a performance artist and teacher. During this time, she became all too aware of the importance of injury prevention and body rehab, and it was this that drew her further towards the health and fitness industry.

Catriona became a barre instructor in 2015, and it was through this training that her depth of knowledge – considering the body and how to challenge, control and develop our bodies in a safe and effective way – truly heightened. And she didn’t stop there – Catriona continued her studies as a Movement Health Expert, becoming a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. She attained a Pilates Teacher Diploma and has since been teaching various group exercise classes across London including PBT (progressing ballet technique), Rebounding, Aerial yoga, Aerial Pilates, Trapeze, HIIT and Studio Cycle.
