A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results.
Kai Sean
Kai is a lifelong athlete, first as a competitive runner and later as a member of the Malaysian National Youth Basketball team at age 17. This foundation in sports performance naturally evolved into a passion for strength and conditioning in the gym, which then led to discovering the balance and precision of yoga and Pilates at 18. Pilates became a constant, forming a deep foundation long before it became a profession.

In 2010, Kai qualified as an ACE Personal Trainer, layering technical expertise onto this lifetime of practical movement experience. Kai has since built over a decade of experience helping people move better, grow stronger, and feel more confident.

Before shifting into fitness full-time, Kai built a career in banking in Singapore and finance in Hong Kong. That background sharpened attention to detail and cultivated a disciplined, results-driven mindset – qualities that now shape every training programme and class. Even during those years, Kai continued freelance personal training, staying close to a lifelong passion for movement.

Now fully focused on teaching, Kai specialises in Reformer Pilates with the aim of helping people of all ages and backgrounds move with more ease, strength, and resilience.

Kai combines technical precision with an approachable, supportive style. Sessions are designed to challenge without being overwhelming; helping clients build strength, improve posture, and ignite confidence through sustainable progress. Kai loves feedback and is always happy to hear how classes and training feel for you.

Beyond the studio, Kai treasures time with loved ones and delights in museums, exhibitions, and all things visually captivating that feed curiosity and imagination.

No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going.

Thu 13 November6:00pmIntermediate to Advanced - Dynamic Reformer Pilates
An upbeat and energising session, ideal for Intermediate clients keen to try the extra challenge that our Advanced Classes offer, but unsure about what to expect. It’s also a great reintroduction for Advanced clients coming back after some time off. It’s a little slower-paced than a regular Advanced Class (though you’ll still challenge yourself and raise a sweat). We’ll focus on optimal form and technique, along with an introduction to some new advanced level exercises, and next-level progressions of familiar routines.

Darren Manly
Darren’s experience in the health and fitness industry spans the past 20 years across a number of roles, from Personal Trainer and Studio Instructor to General Manager. But whatever his role his focus has always been the same: to deliver the best possible experience for his clients, time and time again.

While stability and control form the programming base for his training style – in order to load a joint effectively and avoid the risk of injury, that joint needs to be strong and stable – Darren’s personal satisfaction and reward comes from his ability to understand his clients’ motivations for their desired outcome, and then to support them effectively on their journey to achieve it.

He is a firm believer in leading an active lifestyle, not only for the benefits on our own physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing, but also the positive influence it can have on those around us.

Outside the studio, Darren continues to practice what he preaches. Sporting Performance and Coaching remain close to Darren’s heart, particularly within rugby. Over the years, he has coached both teams and individual clients, with ages ranging from 8 to 80.

You’ll still find Darren playing and coaching rugby for his local team, and during the winter months, he’ll be looking for the first opportunity to grab his snowboard and get down a mountain.

Annishia Lunette
Working as a dancer overseas in hotels and resorts, Annishia has always had a love for movement and what the body can do.

After navigating through multiple dance-related injuries, Annishia halted her dance career. It was through her rehabilitation that she developed her love for fitness. Combining her passion for dance and fitness, she fell in love with Zumba and Latin-based dance forms.

Annishia has experience working as an instructor in Mexico, Turkey and now in the UK, mostly in the corporate and residential sector. She was also a fitness presenter for the ‘At Home Wellbeing’ APP, where she created her own dance fitness and yoga/stretch programme: Flex and Flow.

Her newest passion is Pilates, and she believes that it is essential for preventing injuries and improving form, posture and flexibility. A true advocate of Reformer Pilates – Annishia loves to share her own experiences, and will actively encourage her clients to reap the same benefits.

Aside from teaching, Annishia is a part time model and a trained actor. She always keen to talk and would love to tell you how passionate she is about film and fashion.
