Niamh Mungavin
Niamh is a dedicated clinical trainer with a strong foundation in fitness, rehabilitation, and caregiving. She holds an MSc in Clinical Exercise Science and a First-Class BSc in Fitness and Personal Training from Southampton Solent University. With extensive experience across both clinical and private settings, Niamh has supported individuals with a diverse range of conditions, including brain injury, multiple sclerosis (MS), cancer, Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, hypertension, and depression.

She is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based exercise programs that not only support physical rehabilitation but also empower clients to build confidence and improve their quality of life.

Her background as both a rehabilitation assistant and personal trainer allows her to bridge the gap between clinical care and fitness, creating a safe, welcoming environment for every individual she works with.

Niamh’s journey into fitness began with a desire to help people live more active and fulfilling lives. Her early career in caregiving revealed how vital movement is to recovery, independence, and overall wellbeing. This inspired a deeper dive into the science of exercise, eventually leading to postgraduate degree in clinical exercise science. Pilates became a natural extension of her practice – its focus on control, posture, and breath perfectly complements their rehabilitative approach, offering safe and effective movement strategies for clients with a wide range of abilities.

Clients can expect a calm, compassionate, and focused teaching style. Niamh brings a clinical eye to every session, tailoring movement to each individual’s abilities, goals, and medical history. She prioritises clear communication, functional movement, and gradual progress – always ensuring that clients feel supported, empowered, and in control of their journey. Whether working with neurological conditions, chronic illnesses, or general mobility challenges, her sessions are designed to build confidence, strength, and long-term independence.

In Niamh’s spare time she enjoys running, cooking new tasty recipes, and seeing live music.

Martha Lawrence
From playing competitive sport at a young age, Martha realises the importance of being active for both the mind and body. She participated in various sports, with hockey later becoming her passion, where she competed with her teams at numerous national championship competitions and also in the premier league. Teamwork and dedication are skills she carries through life.

Her knowledge about the influence of a healthy lifestyle was furthered during her studies of Sport and Exercise Science and a masters in Sports Therapy. She learnt about the effects of nutrition on the body’s systems and also the preventive mechanisms of illness and injury that exercise possesses.

Martha’s experiences treating injured patients during her Sports Therapy placement, and from becoming injured herself, means she understands the debilitating effects that injury and illness can have and therefore the importance of good rehabilitation and consistency. From working with many people, often with the same injury, she recognises that every person is unique and requires their own rehabilitation plan. She enjoys working with people to improve their quality of life and assist them to achieve their goals.

Martha believes that exercise improves day to day productivity and state of mind. She attributes her organisational and driven nature to balancing both work and exercise.

In her free time, Martha continues to play hockey and also enjoys running in parks around London and cooking healthy dishes.

Cara Chang
Cara began her Pilates journey as a client at Ten Health and Fitness in 2018. What began as a way to stay active soon became a central part of her wellbeing. Living with Myasthenia Gravis, she has seen how Pilates can help stabilise the body through change, build resilience, and support recovery.

Having also experienced major surgery, physiotherapy, and years of sport, she understands the realities of fluctuating strength and brings empathy and patience to every client she teaches. Her belief that growth is rarely linear and that progress is personal shapes the way she teaches.

Cara focuses on mindful movement and control, encouraging clients to listen to their bodies, build strength gradually, and move with purpose. Her classes are structured yet fluid, helping clients feel grounded, strong, and supported wherever they are in their journey.

Trained in ballet from the age of three to twenty-two under the Royal Academy of Dance, Cara has a deep understanding of good form, posture, and body alignment.

Before becoming an instructor, she worked in law and holds an LLB, an LLM in Law and Business, and an LLM in Banking and Debt Finance. Her legal background developed her analytical mindset and attention to detail, qualities that now inform her teaching style and the care she brings to every class.

For Cara, Pilates is more than exercise. It is a practice of balance, awareness, and self-connection. It reminds her that strength comes in many forms and that every journey, no matter how uneven, is worth celebrating.

Danilo Caruso
Originally from the beautiful island of Sicily, Danilo has been a devotee of sport and exercise since (almost) as long as he could walk.

He began at just 3 years old, practicing Judo with his Aunt (a multiple world champion) and then trying has hand at a variety of sports before discovering dance at 14.

Danilo’s hobby became his profession, as he passed the audition for one of the most prestigious arts universities in Europe, Codarts, in Holland, before moving to the UK, where he graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. (As a Postgraduate, he also won the prize for best achievement of the year in 2012.)

After his graduation Danilo worked as a professional dancer for a number of leading national and international choreographers. He danced as lead performer for the National Theatre, as well performing at the Royal Opera House and Sadler’s Wells, both in London and in their UK tours.

He has always used Pilates as a base for his training, having discovered that it was the most efficient way to prevent injuries. After gaining his Matt Pilates qualification, he decided to combine his Pilates knowledge with the benefits of his dance experience and understanding of body awareness, muscle isolation and proprioception by teaching Pilates to professional dancers.

Danilo’s passion to share his knowledge and insights with a wider audience led him to join the Training team at Ten.

He likes a laugh, loves parks, nice walks, a good book, photography and of course mamma’s cooking.

Beth Stoddart
Beth began her career in Pilates through her training as a Dancer. She has been dancing for many years in a variety of styles such as Contemporary, Ballet and Hip Hop. Beth carries her love for movement and creativity, as well as the discipline, determination and hard-work required as a dancer through all aspects of her life and work. During her time studying dance at university, Beth completed modules in dance science and physiology, which further developed her understanding of the body from an anatomical perspective. This helped her to condition her body effectively to be fit for dance, but also increased her awareness of injury prevention. This led to a greater interest and understanding of fitness, with Pilates being the most beneficial form of exercise that supplemented Beth’s training as a dancer.

Beth loves the technique in Pilates and believes the traditional Pilates principles of Flow, Precision, Control, Concentration, Centring and Breathing are what makes Pilates stand out as a form of exercise. The level of focus and control required in a class enables the mind to become wholly present and in tune with the body and breathing. The result is a strengthening and empowering workout for both the mind and body.

Beth has been teaching Pilates in a variety of settings, from small gyms, to leisure centres, corporate organisations, and classes and at community events. She loves to teach and connect with people, always providing a kind, welcoming environment to ensure everybody can benefit from the class and feel comfortable to achieve their best. Her focus is to provide a safe but effective workout, building strength and control for the deep stabilising muscles to support everyday movement. She is passionate about injury prevention and wants to help people feel strong and empowered in their bodies.

As an exercise physiologist, Santi is passionate about ensuring he keeps himself as up to date as possible on new scientific evidence and research to continue expanding his knowledge.

Santi will take time to create a bespoke exercise prescription plan to ensure the client’s needs always comes first whilst understanding the journey needed to reach health and fitness goals.

Since childhood, Santi has loved spending free time in the great outdoors, and when he’s not working you’ll find him hiking, kayaking or traveling with his camera taking snaps all over the world.

Charlie Roberts
After graduating as a professional dancer from Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2021, Charlie established herself as both a freelance dance artist and personal trainer. During her degree, she started training in Reformer Pilates, laying the foundation for her integrated approach to movement and conditioning.
In 2024, Charlie spent six months performing with Jasmin Vardimon Company 2, where daily Mat Pilates training formed a core part of her professional practice. This experience further deepened her understanding of precision, control, and functional strength.

Her performance career spans television, film, theatre, music videos, and immersive productions. Alongside this, Charlie brings over ten years of teaching experience across piano and dance and has worked for SEND schools and universities. She is a Level 2 & 3 qualified Personal Trainer with additional certifications in nutrition and motivational coaching.

Charlie specialises in strength and resistance training, flexibility, and mobility development. Her approach prioritises technical accuracy to optimise performance and minimise injury risk, while also cultivating mindset, discipline, and long-term confidence. She works with athletes pursuing performance-specific outcomes, as well as clients aiming for weight loss, muscle gain, strength development, or rehabilitation following injury or surgery.

In Reformer Pilates, her favourite exercise is Climb a Tree for its comprehensive demand on abdominal strength, hip flexor activation, and spinal mobility. In personal training, she particularly values single-leg deadlifts combined with a calf raise on a BOSU ball, an exercise that challenges unilateral strength, balance, coordination and muscular engagement.

Outside of teaching, Charlie continues to dance professionally across London in contemporary, hip hop, partnering and heels. She also composes music, building on her foundation as a classical pianist. In her downtime, she enjoys good food, documentaries, catching up with family and the occasional sauna to reset and recover.

Originally from Adelaide, Australia, Hannah holds a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) from the University of South Australia, as well as a Certificate IV and Diploma in Pilates. During her studies, she gained practical experience teaching reformer Pilates for two years, where she developed a strong foundation in movement education and rehabilitation.

Following graduation, Hannah spent five years working in a private practice in Adelaide specialising in disability rehabilitation. In this role, she worked extensively with clients presenting with a wide range of neurological and physical conditions, including spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis (MS), motor neurone disease (MND), Parkinson’s disease, and amputations. Hannah has always loved being active and grew up playing a variety of sports, which first sparked her curiosity about how the body moves and performs. Over time, she realised her real passion lay in helping others feel strong, capable, and confident through movement. This naturally led her to study exercise physiology, where she could combine her love of fitness with her desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Hannah is a warm and supportive practitioner who takes a personalised and evidence-based approach to every session. She loves helping clients build confidence in their bodies and develop long-term strength and mobility through movement. Liam Romeo (Physio)
Liam has recently moved to London from Adelaide, Australia where he attended Flinders University and graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy.

Passionate about the mechanics and physiology of the human body, Liam is an avid learner with a broad interest in health and performance optimisation.
Early on, Liam gained insight into competitive sports through his participation in wrestling and football. Liam believes all people deserve the same high quality, personalised care that elite athletes receive.

Since graduating, Liam has worked with the Australian Defence Force and a premier sports and musculoskeletal clinic in his hometown of Adelaide. Further, Liam became involved as the Head Physio for Element Martial Arts in Adelaide.

Having experienced the impact of injury firsthand through his own martial arts training, Liam deeply understands how injuries can affect every aspect of life. He knows not gust the challenge of returning to sport, but also to daily valued activities. He recognises that effective rehabilitation requires a holistic understanding of the individual and the factors influencing their recovery.

Liam has specialised training in managing shoulder conditions, particularly those involving instability, stiffness, or pain. He has completed Dr. Jared Powell’s comprehensive shoulder course, focusing on science-backed treatments.

Additionally, he is trained in Pilates, and loves helping people gain confidence in their bodies and see improvements in strength and flexibility.

In his practice, Liam is passionate about empowering clients to understand their bodies and his treatment. Liam recognises that everyone is different, and deserves to be met with kindness and an appropriate management for the stage of their condition.

Liam is a strong advocate for using objective measurement tools like the VALD ForceDecks system. He believes the real-time feedback and in-depth analysis is key for identifying the root cause of injuries, enhancing performance, and reducing injury risk for both athletes and the general public.

Overall, Liam utilises a combination of treatment methods including mobilisation, massage, dry-needling and rehabilitative exercises. Liam believes rehabilitation should gently challenge people to cause a positive adaptation of the body.

Outside of work, Liam stays active by continuing his training in wrestling and martial arts, and he enjoys the occasional run. He’s also excited to immerse himself in the cultures of the UK and Europe and looks forward to exploring new destinations with his partner, Cheyenne, on weekends.

Tanvi Parikh (Physio)
Tanvi’s journey into physiotherapy was shaped by a keen interest in human movement and rehabilitation, which developed through early clinical exposure in both India and the UK.

With international experience across a wide range of specialties including musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopaedic, and post-surgical rehabilitation, she brings a holistic and adaptable approach to patient care.

While doing her postgraduate studies at University College London, Tanvi has worked alongside leading physiotherapists and surgeons at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, and University College Hospitals London. These experiences shaped her knowledge in areas such as spinal and back pain, scoliosis care, chronic pain management, shoulder instability and rehabilitation after complex spinal and joint surgeries.

Her Master of Science dissertation explored gait control following surgical treatment for malignant distal femoral bone tumours, and this research has been selected for presentation at multiple national and international conferences, including the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society Conference (2025), CTOS (2023), and the British Sarcoma Group Conference (2024).

Ellie Meadows (Massage/Pilates)
Ellie trained at the North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM), where she gained a strong clinical foundation in advanced soft tissue techniques and injury management, qualifying with a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue and Remedial Massage Therapy. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from office workers to elite athletes, including Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club, the Scottish National Rugby Team in preparation for the Six Nations, and event work at the London Marathon. These experiences have reinforced the importance of precision, performance, and recovery, and have further refined her clinical reasoning and hands-on skills.

Ellie has a long-standing passion for understanding how the body works – its structure, function, and remarkable ability to adapt and heal. This curiosity underpins her approach as a sports massage therapist. Alongside her love of Pilates, she brings a movement-informed perspective to treatment, focusing on improving alignment, creating length, reducing restriction, and restoring optimal function. Her work integrates evidence-based techniques including Muscle Energy Techniques, Soft Tissue Release, and Trigger Point Therapy.

Ellie’s approach goes beyond symptom relief. She is committed to identifying and addressing the root cause of dysfunction, whether that’s a postural imbalance, compensatory movement pattern, or underlying restriction. By taking the time to assess the bigger picture, she ensures treatments are not only effective but long-lasting. She works collaboratively with clients, creating tailored treatment plans and supporting them throughout their fitness and recovery journey.

While Ellie has clear treatment goals, she also values the benefits of full-body treatments for relaxation and muscle rejuvenation, recognising their positive impact on overall wellbeing. Her philosophy is simple: when you move better, you feel better – and everything improves.

With a focused yet reassuring approach, Ellie helps clients feel at ease, confident that the areas needing attention are being addressed, so they can leave feeling restored and rebalanced.

Sydney Lartey
Sydney has been actively involved in the world of health & fitness since the age of 6, from participating in Martial arts, to football and athletics. Running 100m, 110m hurdle, 200m and 4x100m relay in athletics for the Merton region and playing in multiple football teams such as Oakway Royals, Epsom and Ewell, winning club top scorer in his debut season.

With over a decade of training experience Sydney took up life as a PT after his father fell ill due to poor eating habits.

Since then, he has gained multiple certifications and proudly led several athletes to breaking and holding multiple British, European and world powerlifting records, including a successful defence of the world title in July 2022.

After suffering a back injury in a cycling accident, Sydney became obsessed with human movement and how each of our body parts are connected to each other through movement. Believing firmly in applying science to every aspect of training to maximise potential results and minimise injury risk, naturally Sydney’s motto became; Better Movement, Better Performance.

Sydney takes both a practical and theoretical scientific approach to assess his clients and structure suitable training programs. His programs are progressive to allow for gradual increments in load, and dynamic to enable changes to be made when needed.

In addition to his health & fitness qualifications, Sydney also has a Diploma in Applied Science & Medical Science, from Kingston college. In between his busy training schedules, you can rely on this PT being up to date with a multitude of sports from Football, Formula One, Rugby, Tennis, Bodybuilding, Strongman, and many more. He also enjoys long walks and deep conversations about life’s mysteries.
