I don’t have any prior experience but I want to become a Reformer Instructor, which course is right for me?
Our Reformer Pilates courses require foundational knowledge, and come with prerequisites such as a Level 3 Mat qualification. If you have no previous qualifications, we recommend starting with our Balanced Body Endorsed Group Mat Course.
This course is designed to give an essential foundation and deep understanding of movement science and anatomy. Once completed, you’ll earn a universally respected Level 3 Mat Pilates qualification and, from there, you’ll be perfectly primed to progress onto our renowned Reformer and Equipment training.
-
I have a PT qualification but no Pilates experience, which course should I take?
Our 8-Day Dynamic Reformer Course is the perfect fit for you. Because you already have a PT qualification, you likely have a solid grasp of anatomy and fitness foundations, meaning you can bypass the entry-level mat requirements and dive straight into the Reformer.
-
I have a mat qualification and want to teach reformer, can I do the 2 Day Course?
Our 2-Day Reformer Course is designed specifically for fitness professionals who already hold a Level 3 (or above) Mat Pilates qualification. Since you already understand the foundational principles of Pilates, movement science, and anatomy, this intensive course bypasses the basics and focuses entirely on transitioning your skills to the Reformer. Over two highly immersive days in our dedicated training spaces, you’ll get hands-on practice in a real studio environment.
-
What qualification will I get at the end of my Dynamic Reformer Pilates Course, and where can I use it?
Upon successful completion, you'll earn a Certificate in Teaching Dynamic Reformer Pilates, which is highly recognised and respected both nationally and internationally. Because Ten Health & Fitness is a UK leader in Reformer Pilates with over 20 years of experience, our qualifications carry immense weight in the industry and they're grounded in real-world clinical and studio practice. This standard of excellence is why many of our graduates have gone on to teach at some of London’s top boutique studios, and many have even opened their own successful spaces. Wherever your career takes you, this certificate proves you have trained to the absolute highest industry benchmark.

What happens if I fail my Pilates assessment?
Don’t worry; we view assessments as a supportive learning tool, not a barrier to your success. We create an encouraging and constructive environment where you're fully supported to grow, ask questions, and ultimately excel.
If you don’t pass your online theory exam on the first go, you'll have 2 more attempts to complete it in your own time via our online learning portal. Your certificate will then be issued upon successful completion.
If you do not pass your practical assessment, we can offer the option to be re-assessed later that same day or alongside the next course cohort at a later date.
-
What happens if I can't make my Pilates course?
Providing you let us know before your course starts, we'll happily move your booking to the next available course intake and you won't lose out on your training. To help you stay on track, you can also retain access to our flexible online learning portal, allowing you to buffer your course days with at-home learning.
-
What should I wear?
When you’re on a course day, sessions are active and you’ll be required to experience and demonstrate the exercises. Make sure you’re wearing workout clothing that you’ll be comfortable moving in.
-
When will I receive access to my online learning materials?
You'll receive access to our online learning portal within a week of your registration, allowing you to dive straight into your materials. We deliberately provide this early access so you can comfortably buffer your practical course days with flexible, at-home learning in your own time. If your course includes a physical manual, this will also be handed out to you on the very first day of your in-person training.
