Your guide to women’s pelvic health for every stage of life

logos

Created by Hertility and Ten Health & Fitness, this expert-led guide brings together reproductive health insight, pelvic health physiotherapy and movement support to help you better understand your body.

Because women’s health is best understood as a whole, not in parts.

What’s inside the guide?

Pelvic health is connected to more than most people realise: periods, pain, sex, fertility, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, perimenopause, bladder and bowel health, posture, movement and confidence.

In this guide, Hertility and Ten Health & Fitness bring together two areas of expertise that are often treated separately.

Hertility helps you understand what may be happening inside the body through hormone and fertility testing, diagnostics, clinical consultations and onward care pathways.

Ten supports the physical side through specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Dynamic Reformer Pilates, rehabilitation, Personal Training and expert movement support.

Together, we help you connect the dots.

The four pillars

The guide is built around four key areas of pelvic and reproductive health.

1 Understanding pelvic and reproductive health

2 Painful period and pelvic pain

3 Painful sex and trying to conceive

4 Pregnancy, postpartum and beyond

Who is it for?

This guide is for you if you’re:

  • curious about your cycle, hormones or fertility
  • experiencing pelvic pain, painful sex, leaking, urgency or heaviness
  • trying to conceive now, or planning ahead
  • pregnant, postnatal or returning to exercise after birth
  • looking for expert, practical guidance on how movement can support women’s health
  • ready to understand your body better, and know where to turn next

You do not need to have a diagnosis to benefit from the guide. If something does not feel right, that is enough reason to start asking better questions.

Why Hertility and Ten?

Women’s health is rarely about one thing.

Hormones can affect tissue health, energy, mood, cycles, fertility and pain. Movement can affect strength, pelvic floor function, posture, confidence and recovery. Stress, sleep, breath and the nervous system can influence both.

That is why Hertility and Ten have come together.

Hertility brings the clinical reproductive health lens: testing, diagnostics, consultations and onward care.

Ten brings the movement and rehabilitation lens: specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Dynamic Reformer Pilates, Personal Training and recovery support.

Together, it is a more complete way to understand and support your health.

Common does not mean normal – Leaking when you exercise. Period pain that floors you. Sex that hurts. Heaviness, urgency or pelvic pain. Changes after birth that have never quite resolved.

These symptoms are common, but they are not things you simply have to put up with.

The guide is designed to help you understand what your body may be telling you, recognise when to seek support, and feel more confident taking the next step.
