To say that she likes travel and physical challenges is something of an understatement. She has always been a keen horserider and a runner. When she moved to London she discovered Thai boxing, and after a few years’ training, moved to Kho Samui where she trained for a further five months, taking part in three fights (and winning all three). On returning to London, she was persuaded to enter her first London Marathon – the first of 14 marathons (5 of them in London) all completed in good times, along with a100km race, which she finished in just over 10 hours. When she lived in Australia and Vanuatu she took up cycling, and as a result found herself competing in the Alpes d’Huez. With its 21 hairpins, this is one of the legendary ascents of the Tour de France, which she climbed in just over an hour on a steel bike. Just to add an extra element of challenge (and yet more travel), Caroll trained in Krav Maga in Israel, qualifying as an Instructor. And picking up some injuries along the way, which in turn, introduced her to Pilates and her teaching qualification. Over the past decade she has participated in a number of courses at the some most respected institutes in the field of holistic health and exercise. With her in-depth understanding (and personal experience) that functional movement patterns are essential to maintain a healthy, efficient and pain free body, Carroll ensures that Pilates is at the core of every exercise and program that she does. As a Trainer, Caroll is strict yet patient; a perfectionist but also a good motivator. As the basis of all Pilates, she insists on correct and transferable technique in all exercises – so you can practice in everyday life what you learn in class. But above all, she aims to develop routines that suit, stimulate and encourage everyone in her classes. | Ten - Nine Elms | Join Waitlist | 1710873000 |

After completing her degree, Bianca realized that her love for understanding how the human body functions wasn’t limited to the world of sports. She wanted to teach everyone how to get the most out of their lives. This inspired her to pursue an honours degree in Biokinetics, where she learned how to apply her knowledge in a clinical setting.
Following her studies, Bianca secured an internship position at a neurological rehabilitation center in South Africa, where she honed her skills in helping patients recover from a range of neurological conditions. It was here that she learned to be creative, compassionate, and supportive, becoming the ultimate advocate for physical activity as a means of achieving optimal health and wellness. She believes that exercise is truly medicine and is committed to spending the rest of her life teaching others just how incredible exercise can be.
With her fun-loving yet calm nature, Bianca has a remarkable ability to connect with a wide range of individuals, from competitive athletes to intimidated elderly individuals. She believes that everyone can live a functional, healthy, and happy life with the right support and guidance.
Bianca has a particular interest in working with individuals who face neurological conditions, back pain, or general health issues, as well as elderly individuals who are looking to maintain their independence and mobility. She believes that with the right guidance and support, anyone can achieve their health and wellness goals.
If you’re ready to embark on a journey towards optimal health and wellness, Bianca would love to be your guide. | Ten - City | Book Now | 1710854100 |

Tue 19 March | 4:00pm | Classical Pilates - Circuit Using Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Barrel, Wunda Chair and Cadillac, in these small group classes you will follow your own individual programme as you rotate between each piece of Pilates equipment. Each machine features a system of springs, creating resistance to allow and encourage the muscles of the hips, shoulders, arms and legs to work effectively. The resistance can be altered and set to suit the needs of each individual. This enables our team to devise a programme to facilitate the best possible outcome for our clients’ varying needs. An introductory assessment/therapist referral is required prior to taking part in a Group Circuit class. All Group Circuit classes have a maximum of four clients and provide individual targeted tuition. | Antonio De La Fe Guedes Antonio had already trained as a Physiotherapist in Spain before he started to train as a professional dancer. During this time he also completed his Pilates training in 2003, focusing on using Pilates both as a rehabilitation tool and as a bridge between his dance and physiotherapy practice. Whilst working as a Pilates instructor from 2003 and 2005 in Madrid Antonio studied contemporary dance at the Royal Professional Dance Conservatoire (Mariemma) in Madrid in 2005. Thereafter he moved to London to undertake a more intense dance training programme, completing a Cert HE and an MA at the London Contemporary Dance School. He joined Little Venice team in 2008, and continues to work as a professional dancer and choreographer (winning a number of scholarships and awards along the way). As well as bringing his backgrounds in physiotherapy and dance, into his Pilates teaching, Antonio is interested in mental imagery, mindfulness and body awareness as tools for repatterning movement. His approach not only makes the Pilates repertoire more accessible, even to the least experienced clients, but also allows him to adapt it to match each individual client’s needs. Antonio loves working with the simplest exercises in the Reformer yet exploring them in depth. He also loves the possibilities that the Little Venice equipment offers – particularly the Cadillac – for working on spinal mobilisation and flexibility. Antonio is fluent in English and Spanish. | Little Venice Pilates | Book Now | 1710864000 |

Running 100m, 110m hurdle, 200m and 4x100m relay in athletics for the Merton region and playing in multiple football teams such as Oakway Royals, Epsom and Ewell, winning club top scorer in his debut season. Since then, he has gained multiple certifications and proudly led several athletes to breaking and holding multiple British, European and world powerlifting records, including a successful defence of the world title in July 2022.

Sydney takes both a practical and theoretical scientific approach to assess his clients and structure suitable training programs. His programs are progressive to allow for gradual increments in load, and dynamic to enable changes to be made when needed.

Like many dancers, Lauren was no stranger to injury and postural imbalances, and was captivated by what Pilates had to offer.
After working for a short period as a performer, Lauren discovered that she thrived more in a teaching environment and took on work as a dance teacher and eventually set up her own recreational dance school in Stockholm for adults. Pilates became an integral part of the teaching method of the adult students and was the main form of conditioning used by the school.
She also set up a non-profit organisation which offered few weekly dance classes and practise spaces for adults who were suffering from depression, anxiety or loneliness. She noticed the positive effects of dancing and exercise in those around her, and wanted it to be accessible for everyone regardless of their circumstances.
Lauren began to organise dance workshops and events in Sweden with participants attending from all over the World, Brazil, New Zealand, Canada, Russia, Poland, Israel and many more. She also had the privilege to assist some world-famous dancers in teaching their workshops.
After discovering her love for teaching, she then went on to become a full-time group fitness instructor for SATS Sverige teaching concepts such as Core, Power Pilates, Les Mills, Spin, Running, Mobility, HIIT, Zumba and Aerobics.
In parallel, Lauren gained her Personal Trainer qualification as she wanted to be able to work in a one-to-one setting with her clients. Since moving back to England, Lauren has worked as a personal trainer. At Ten, she is thrilled to be working amongst some of the best trainers in the UK, who also share the same mindset toward training – that it should be about improving quality of life through better movement.
As a trainer Lauren believes you should continuously work on having a strong foundation. This means working on mind-muscle connection, muscular imbalances and awakening dormant muscles. Lauren takes a lot of inspiration from calisthenics and gymnastics movements to help build that base, as they require a lot of strength, mobility and stability – the perfect combo. | Ten - Notting Hill | Book Now | 1710939600 |

It's also the ideal environment to get to grips with some of the new and more challenging exercises you’ll encounter. | Caroll Kerner Caroll is originally from the Champagne region in France. | Ten - Notting H Gate | Book Now | 1710932400 |

Through this, he came to understand just how beneficial exercise medicine is in multiple areas – from the improvement of mental health and the preservation of cognitive function in later life to the prevention and management of cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. To expand this knowledge and deepen his understanding of these conditions, Dario trained further with a BACPR course, liaising with other professionals at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust at the same time to improve his ability to apply cardiac rehabilitation principles in everyday practice. From an early age, he tried his hand at everything, including football, athletics, swimming, and rugby, to name just a few. This contnued through school, leading him to study Sport and Exercise Science at university, where he specialised in human anatomy and physiology and the effects exercise has on the body. Keen to combine his university studies with his passion for working with others, Tom completed his Gym Instructor and Personal Training qualifications. He enjoys working closely with clients to help them unlock their potential, overcome challenges, and become the best version of themselves that they can be. Whether it is teaching a new client the basics of the gym, or training elite athletes in a strength and conditioning environment, Tom feels that a combination of communication, team-work and dedication can achieve most goals.
Always striving to push himself and increase his knowledge in the industry, Tom went on to gain his BACPR Level 4 Cardiac Exercise Instructor qualification, allowing him to help clinical populations with exercise prescription. It was during this time that he fell in love with clinical exercise prescription, and the opportunity to help clients with specific clinical needs, goals, and requirements. For Tom, helping people restore their day-to-day fitness after suffering health problems is as much – if not more – of an achievement as hitting a personal best on a bench press or 5k best time.
As a result, Tom has worked with GP referral clients in both a 1-2-1 and group exercise setting. Working together to achieve a common goal, and facing a variety of barriers and physical conditions, is the way he loves to work. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results. | Tom Lowe Tom has always been obsessed with all things sport, health and fitness related.
After graduating with his Sport and Exercise Science degree in Rome, Dario took the opportunity to complete his European Master of Science in Health and Physical Activity, which allowed him to study the principles of exercise therapy in the clinical environment. He is a friendly, conscientious and motivated trainer with a true passion for all things Pilates and resistance training. Gareth studied music formally at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Having shown no aptitude for any sport earlier in life, it was only in his final years of study that Gareth discovered the mental and physical benefits of exercise.
Moving to London in 2012, Gareth continued to cultivate a growing passion for fitness (resistance training in particular) alongside a career in music. It was through an injury in 2016 that Gareth discovered the transformative power of Pilates.
In 2021, Gareth made his professional entry into the fitness industry, qualifying as a personal trainer. In 2023, having seen that so many of his PT clients could also benefit from Pilates, Gareth qualified as a Pilates instructor.

Working at a private physiotherapy practice in Sydney, he began to recognise just how effective Pilates is in preventing injury and rehabilitating clients back to their full form. He has specialised in recognition and management of complex conditions, particularly using exercise to improve low and upper back pain.
Chris finds Pilates is the perfect antidote to our increasingly sedentary, desk-based lives. He enjoys working with clients to move, strengthen, lengthen and stabilise the structures affected by this lifestyle, reducing common complaints including back, neck and shoulder pain.

Wed 20 March | 7:00am | Intermediate - Dynamic Reformer Pilates A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results. | Gabriella Haddow Born in South Africa and raised by a single mother, Gabriella learnt from an early age that hard work, determination and perseverance paved the way for her to achieve her goals and dreams. From a young age, Gabriella fell in love with playing sport, and excelled in tennis, achieving full provincial colours and earning a nomination for sportswoman of the year, two years running. As she got older, her passion for sport grew as well as her need and want to help people, which left her wondering if the two things that she loved the most could be combined.
With an undergraduate degree in BA Sports Psychology already under her belt, Gabriella wished to use her knowledge and experience to work with sports related injuries and issues. It wasn’t until she was introduced to the field of Biokinetics that she came to learn more about those suffering with autoimmune, neurological and chronic conditions, and realised that she could make more of an impact working in this area than she could ever do with sports.
And with that, Gabriella began working to turn her dream into a reality, completing her Bachelor of Arts Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2015. She continued to participate in sport, moving away from tennis and into indoor and outdoor football, whilst continuing to expand her knowledge through courses in sports massage, nutrition and sports nutrition.
Her determination and persistence to work in her chosen field landed her an internship at the Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology in South Africa. During this time, she received extensive training and became certified in dealing with diabetes and diabetic related complications. Gabriella then obtained a position with a practice as a full time Biokineticist, where she began actively working with autoimmune, neurological, chronic and special populations.
As a Biokineticist, Gabriella is professionally trained to apply and prescribe exercises and physical activity specific to a person and their individual needs. Her knowledge of human movement and her understanding of a broad range of diseases and how they impact an individual, allows her to treat a patient holistically in order to achieve the best possible outcome. From this aspect she can then actively apply exercise interventions and rehabilitation techniques to influence and change a person’s life.
Gabriella’s desire to keep learning, which also allows her to see her patient’s bodies in a different light, comes from studying a variety of different courses that separate her from many other professionals within in her field. Throughout 2017 she completed courses that stimulated her mind and enabled her patients positively. She took it one step further by achieving her level 1 and level 2 with Douglas Heel’s Be activated 123 – a course that truly honed her holistic approach, from analysing breathing techniques, through to posture and correct movement abilities – altering the body to perform its basic movements.
Away from work, Gabriella enjoys participating in Calisthenics which not only allows her to keep her body strong, but also acts as her stress relief. She enjoys reading, learning new things and actively engaging with people to expand her knowledge of the world and current affairs. Her move to London in 2022 allows her to influence and bring change to a new group of people and also to grow as a person both in personal and business life. | Ten - Chiswick | Book Now | 1710918000 |

Wed 20 March | 4:00pm | Intermediate - Dynamic Reformer Pilates A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results. | Beth Stoddart Beth began her career in Pilates through her training as a Dancer. She has been dancing for many years in a variety of styles such as Contemporary, Ballet and Hip Hop. Beth carries her love for movement and creativity, as well as the discipline, determination and hard-work required as a dancer through all aspects of her life and work. During her time studying dance at university, Beth completed modules in dance science and physiology, which further developed her understanding of the body from an anatomical perspective. This helped her to condition her body effectively to be fit for dance, but also increased her awareness of injury prevention. This led to a greater interest and understanding of fitness, with Pilates being the most beneficial form of exercise that supplemented Beth’s training as a dancer. Beth loves the technique in Pilates and believes the traditional Pilates principles of Flow, Precision, Control, Concentration, Centring and Breathing are what makes Pilates stand out as a form of exercise. The level of focus and control required in a class enables the mind to become wholly present and in tune with the body and breathing. The result is a strengthening and empowering workout for both the mind and body.
Beth has been teaching Pilates in a variety of settings, from small gyms, to leisure centres, corporate organisations, and classes and at community events. She loves to teach and connect with people, always providing a kind, welcoming environment to ensure everybody can benefit from the class and feel comfortable to achieve their best. Her focus is to provide a safe but effective workout, building strength and control for the deep stabilising muscles to support everyday movement. She is passionate about injury prevention and wants to help people feel strong and empowered in their bodies. | Ten - City | Book Now | 1710950400 |

Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going. | Lauren Chapelhow Lauren was introduced to Pilates as a part of her full-time dance education.
| Ten - Notting Hill | Book Now | 1710928800 |

Sport has always been a huge part of her life, and she played a variety of sports growing up but focussed mostly on Gaelic Football. She has always been truly fascinated by the application and influence of science in sports. This fascination evolved even further when she started studying for her undergraduate degree in sports science and was able to delve deeper into various aspects of sports science such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and psychology.
It was really when Chloe was on placement in a cardio-rehabilitation centre, working with clinical populations, that she truly started to see the bigger picture. She witnessed first-hand how beneficial and effective exercise was for treating various chronic conditions, and that was when the saying ‘exercise is medicine’ really came to life for her. She found herself able to apply her sports science knowledge to general and clinical populations – greatly contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of her clients.
Determined to develop her physiology knowledge and skills further, Chloe studied for a masters in exercise physiology in Loughborough University. She also completed large amounts of physiological testing on sporting and non-sporting individuals, realising its value as part of a training programme to assist with exercise prescription and help monitor overall training progress.
Chloe has worked with a wide variety of individuals – from children right up to the elderly! She has gained experience across a number of different environments including corporate settings, sports setups, clinics and gyms. With each person that she works with her aim is to highlight key areas and subtle changes that can help improve their overall health, wellbeing and performance – with the addition of some fun along the way!
In her spare time, you’ll find Chloe exploring my surroundings, whether by walking, running or hiking. | Ten - Notting H Gate | Join Waitlist | 1710928800 |

| Ten - Notting H Gate | Book Now | 1710936000 |

It's also the ideal environment to get to grips with some of the new and more challenging exercises you’ll encounter. | Lauren Chapelhow Lauren was introduced to Pilates as a part of her full-time dance education.
| Ten - Notting Hill | Book Now | 1710936000 |

Tue 19 March | 5:30pm | Advanced - Dynamic Reformer Pilates This Advanced Pilates class is set to push experienced Ten faithfuls to new levels. Not for the inexperienced or unfit. 55 mins. | Caroll Kerner Caroll is originally from the Champagne region in France. | Ten - Nine Elms | Join Waitlist | 1710869400 |
