Andrew is a BTEC Level 5-certified Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapist, trained at the North London School of Sports Massage. His expertise is backed by hands-on experience, including volunteer work with the Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School. This diverse background enables him to treat a wide range of clients, from individuals seeking relief from daily discomfort to athletes aiming to optimise their performance.
Movement has always been a central part of Andrew’s life. He has a deep passion for sports, including running, climbing, weightlifting, long-distance hiking, yoga, and cycling, most recently adding ballet to the mix. A severe overuse injury in his late teens first sparked his fascination with the body’s mechanics and the healing process, ultimately leading him to retrain as a massage therapist.
Andrew takes a holistic approach to treatment, considering the entire body to identify the root causes of discomfort. He blends traditional massage with advanced techniques such as Soft Tissue Release, Muscle Energy Techniques, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, and Breathwork. His ongoing professional development ensures that he stays at the forefront of the field, continually refining his skills to offer the best possible care.
Whether he’s helping clients recover from injury, improve mobility, or simply relieve everyday tension, Andrew’s goal is to enhance overall well-being. His personal experience across various sports gives him unique insight into movement patterns and injury prevention, making him a versatile and empathetic therapist.
When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him at the climbing wall, exploring the trails of Hampstead Heath, or practicing ballet.
