Ilias is a senior Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Sports Physiotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). He graduated from the University of West Attica, Greece, and driven by his passion for sports rehabilitation, moved to London to complete an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, graduating with distinction.
Ilias has extensive experience working in busy private clinics, managing a wide range of conditions. He specialises in lower limb injuries (hip, knee, foot and ankle), sports injuries, pre/post-operative care, and degenerative conditions. He also has a strong interest in treating neck pain and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ). His clinical expertise includes manual therapy, exercise therapy, and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound.
He has previously worked in professional football academies in both Greece and the UK and is currently an Academy Physiotherapist at Chelsea FC (U9–U16). These roles have given him valuable insight into adolescent and growth-related injuries, as well as their specific rehabilitation needs.
Ilias takes a patient-centred, holistic approach — not only aiming to relieve symptoms but to identify and address their underlying cause. He works closely with clients throughout their rehabilitation journey, combining hands-on treatment with tailored, gym-based exercise programs to help them achieve their goals and return to the activities they love.
In his free time, you can find Ilias watching or playing football and exploring different cuisines across London.
