Born in Korea and raised in Hong Kong, Liz lived in New York, Spain and France before settling in London. She studied Fine Art at New York University and later pursued creative work that involved long hours at a desk.

During this period, she began experiencing persistent back pain, which led her to explore movement, yoga and bodywork. Through managing her own discomfort, she developed an interest in the connection between physical tension, stress and emotional wellbeing. Having always been drawn to hands-on work, she found massage therapy offered a direct and meaningful way to help people feel more comfortable and at ease in their bodies.
Liz went on to train at the North London School of Sports Massage (NLSSM), qualifying with a Level 5 Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy. Since then, she has worked with a wide range of clients, including dancers and musical theatre performers at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, individuals seeking relief from daily discomfort, as well as supporting athletes at events such as the London Marathon and Ride London.

Liz takes a holistic, whole-body approach to treatment. Rather than focusing solely on the symptomatic area, she aims to understand the broader picture, comprising posture, lifestyle, stress levels and movement patterns, to identify and address the root cause of discomfort. Her sessions combine clinically informed techniques with a calm, reassuring presence. She works with the body, steering away from the “no pain, no gain” philosophy and instead prioritising nervous system regulation and sustainable progress. She believes that effective treatment is collaborative, and that small, consistent changes can make a meaningful long-term difference.

Outside the treatment room, Liz can often be found life drawing, riding horses, planning her next wild camping trip and continuing her professional development. She is currently volunteering at UCLH and previously spent eight months travelling around France in a self-converted van – experiences that reflect her curiosity and love of exploration.
