A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results.
Olaf Heritage
Olaf’s passion for sport and exercise followed him all the way through school to university. Suffering with injuries along the way and attending therapy sessions on a regular basis, he developed a keen interest in the human body as well as injury treatment and prevention. A knee operation in his first year at University – and first-hand experience of the frustrations that injuries and the ensuing a lack of direction can bring – deepened this desire to help people get back to their full fitness.

Upon completing his degree in Sports Therapy, Olaf worked at AFC Bournemouth alongside the academy physiotherapist, where he attended to a wide range of injuries and focused much of his attention on rehabilitation techniques. After a year at Bournemouth, Olaf went on to complete his level 3 diploma in personal training, allowing him to take clients from an injured state all the way to fully fit and trained.

In 2017, Olaf took the opportunity to fulfil his dream of travelling through Southeast Asia, returning 5 months later to continue pursuing his career in the sports and exercise industry, joining a Reformer Pilates studio in Hertfordshire. He was instantly drawn to Reformer Pilates, due to its heavy focus on posture, strength and flexibility which, combined with regular training and therapy, will lead to a much fitter, healthier and happier life. Since discovering the discipline, Reformer Pilates has become a firm staple within Olaf’s own training routine, and he is passionate about continually expanding his knowledge about new ways of moving and strengthening the body.

No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going.
