A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results.
Amy Christie (Physio)
Amy graduated from York St. John University, England with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. She went on to specialise in musculoskeletal conditions and injuries, reaching Senior Specialist level within the NHS, treating a variety of patients and conditions, from acute to chronic. She also completed rotations in specialist areas such as chronic back pain, ante/post natal care, hydrotherapy, advanced lower limb rehab and A+E.

Amy then progressed into private practice in London, which is where she developed her skills as an expert musculoskeletal and sports Physiotherapist, treating everyone from the weekend warrior to the elite athlete. It was also during this time that she was introduced to Reformer and Classical Pilates to help support her clients’ rehabilitation. She is an expert at creating bespoke programmes for each client to help them achieve their goals.

She works closely with some of London’s leading consultants, and attends regular CPD and clinics to keep up to date with the latest treatments and research.

In her native Ireland, Amy has been lucky to work with elite athletes including jockeys and gaelic footballers, providing match day support and rehabilitation plans. With her background in sports, she has become passionate about assessing biomechanics and breaking down movement patterns. This allows her to address the root cause of the problem, to prevent re-injury and promote functional and effective movement patterns.

In her spare time, you’ll find Amy running around a hockey pitch, or watching horses run around a racetrack.
