Live Classes

Expertly taught small group Zoom-based live online classes for all levels, with our trademark #MoveBetter approach, focusing as much on quality of movement as on intensity of effort.

At Ten we’re known for our expert instruction, our inclusive, personal approach and our attention to detail, whether inside the Studio or online.

Numbers are limited in these Zoom classes, so your instructor can keep an eye on everyone. Expect a safe, effective and results-driven workout with plenty of clear and precise cueing, along with progressions and regressions for different abilities.

Classes are mat or floor based, and you won’t need any specialist exercise equipment to take part.

And because we’re all about variety, new classes are added regularly.

How to book

We’ve done our best to make booking an online live class as simple as possible.

You’ll find our online live class schedule in the timetable, and you can book single or multiple classes online or via our App, just as you would any other class.

You will need to have live class credits in your account to make a booking – if you don’t already have them you can buy them here. If you have existing Studio class credits and you'd like to exchange these for live class credits, please email team@ten.co.uk

Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking. If you have any injuries or conditions that your trainer should know about, please reply to the confirmation email to let us know.

30 mins before your class starts, you’ll receive a second email with a Zoom link – you’ll need that to access the class. You’ll also need to ensure that you’ve downloaded Zoom in advance and that you’re already logged in ahead of the class start time.

If you book less than 30 mins before the class starts, you'll receive both the confirmation and the Zoom link emails straight away.

You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 12 hours before the class start time.

Mat Pilates – Beginners (45 min)

If you’re new to Pilates, haven’t exercised in a while, or just want to work on your alignment, posture and mobility, strengthen your core, and improve overall muscular control at a manageable pace, this is a great place to start. Ten’s trademark focus on quality of movement rather than just intensity of effort makes these classes safe, effective and absorbing.

Mat Pilates – Intermediate (45 min)

This is a definite ‘change-up’ in level from the Beginners class, with the emphasis firmly on effort, focus and results. You’ll need a reasonable amount of core strength and muscular endurance and should be comfortable with the basic Pilates techniques. If you’ve already been doing Ten’s Dynamic Reformer Pilates classes, this is the session for you. Expect to shake, feel your muscles burn, and work up a sweat.

Dynamic Bodyweight Pilates – Beginners (45 min)

While this is a beginner’s class it won’t be easy. Using your own bodyweight and a few readily available props, this mat and floor-based class is harder, more dynamic, and more functional than a traditional mat Pilates class, and does requote a reasonable amount of core and muscular strength. Designed to challenge body and brain alike it will have you sweating and grinning at the same time.

Dynamic Bodyweight Pilates – Intermediate (45 min)

If you’ve done Mat Pilates before, this isn’t it. What it is, is a dynamic, flowing and demanding whole body workout that will develop postural alignment, strength, endurance and muscular balance. While we’ll focus – as always – on control form and technique, Ten’s trademark dynamic flow between exercises means you’ll pack plenty of movement – and challenge – into each session.

Dynamic Bodyweight Pilates – Advanced (45 min)

This class offers the same focus on control, technique and form that you’ll be used to from our Intermediate sessions, but, with tougher progressions, faster changeovers and more complex combinations, you can expect to work even harder both physically and mentally. This full-body workout is definite step-up in intensity.

Prenatal Pilates (45 min)

With a focus on correct form and technique, maintaining joint stability and promoting healthy movement, Pilates is a great way to support your body with the changes it undergoes when you’re expecting a child. During this mat-based class, you’ll work through a series of safe, sustainable exercises to keep you strong and mobile during your pregnancy. It will also help boost your immune system and circulation, and provide you with the energy levels you need to enjoy this time and better prepare for the physical demands of childbirth and motherhood.

Animal Flow – Beginners (45 min)

If you’re new to Animal Flow, our Beginners class is ideal for introducing you to the base positions, stretches and transitions that you’ll need to develop complex flows. Centred on ground-based movement, this immersive, surprisingly challenging and hugely enjoyable class is fantastic for getting you out of the fixed, linear movement patterns that we typically see in other exercise disciplines, helping you move more powerfully and fluidly through three-dimensions– just as nature intended.

Animal Flow – Intermediate (45 min)

A step-up in pace and intensity from our Beginners class, you’ll progress your learnings into complex flows of movement that require increased co-ordination, mobility and strength. With an emphasis on precision and control, Animal Flow also facilitates mindfulness through its continued practice. If you’re looking for something to challenge you mentally and physically – and make movement more fun – you’ll love this class. Please note: you’ll need to attend a Beginners Animal Flow session before booking into this class.

Kinstretch (45 min)

Sometimes described as ‘the new Pilates’, Kinstretch is an innovative, proven movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and strength throughout our joints’ full range of motion, to improve overall joint mobility and longevity. It can require deceptive amounts of physical effort, making it more akin to a strength workout than a stretch class. And while improvements are often gradual they are also visible and demonstrable – you’ll start seeing the results within just a few sessions.

HiiT (45 min)

Expect to be challenged – it’s tough, sweaty and fast. You’ll be alternating intense anaerobic exercise with lower intensity recovery intervals. It’s a fast-paced and highy time-efficient workout that will burn fat, build muscular strength, and boost cardiovascular fitness. You’ll also feel great afterwards, thanks to HiiT’s ability to generate heaps of endorphins.

Strength & Conditioning (45 min)

This group-based class is designed to provide both a thorough workout and the tools you need to make it specific to your personal needs. By combining age old principles with the latest research-based systems, Strength and Conditioning is a great way to help your body improve its functional performance through your daily life – enabling it to move better, with more control, more power, and with less effort. Quite simply, strength training doesn’t just make you stronger. It can help you become healthier, happier, more functionally capable and more injury resistant.

Yoga (55 min)

Our Vinyasa Flow classes combine a dynamic sequence of asanas with Ten's trademark focus on posture, form and correct muscle activation to help restore balance, lengthen over-tight muscles, and help reset and re-educate the body into a more natural set of movement patterns. We’ll flow through a series of poses fluidly, synchronising each movement with the breath. Take the opportunity to connect with your breath, expand your range of motion and let the meditative benefits of Vinyasa Flow quiet your mind.
