  • What is Massage Therapy at Ten?

    Massage Therapy at Ten is not only to help you relax and destress it is also a clinically informed, expert-led service, designed to support how your body moves, recovers and performs.

    Our therapists work with a wide range of needs, from managing muscular tension and training load to supporting recovery from injury or long periods of stress. Every session is tailored to you, based on how your body feels and what it needs on the day.

  • What are the benefits of regular massage?

    Regular Massage Therapy can:

    • Reduce muscular tension and stiffness
    • Improve circulation and mobility
    • Support recovery from training or injury
    • Help manage stress and improve sleep
    • Prevent small issues becoming bigger problems

    Many clients find massage plays an important role in maintaining balance, physically and mentally, particularly alongside Pilates or Physiotherapy.

  • Do I need to be injured to book a massage?

    Not at all.

    While massage is often used to support injury recovery, many clients book sessions proactively, to stay mobile, manage workload or training stress, and simply feel better in their bodies day to day.

  • What types of massage do you offer?

    All Massage Therapy sessions at Ten are tailored rather than menu-based.

    Your therapist will discuss your needs and adapt techniques accordingly, which may include:

    • Sports and deep tissue work
    • Recovery-focused massage
    • Relaxation-led sessions with therapeutic intent

    The focus is always on what will be most effective for you.

  • How long are massage appointments?

    We offer 30, 45, 60 and 90-minute appointments across a number of studios.

    • Shorter sessions are ideal for targeted areas
    • 60 minutes suits most clients and allows for full-body or focused work
    • 90 minutes provides a more comprehensive, unhurried treatment

  • How do I book my first Massage?

    Firstly, we recommend you start by finding the type of Massage you want, at a time and studio of your choice.

    If you’re not sure which type is best for you, just get in touch and we’d be happy to talk you through the options. You can fill out the enquiry form below or call your preferred studio.

    Whatever your reason for getting a Massage, we also recommend starting with a 60 minute session, as this will give your therapist plenty of time to understand your body and ensure that you leave feeling the maximum benefits.

  • What is a Massage membership, and who is it for?

    Our Massage membership is designed for clients who want consistent, ongoing support.

    It includes:

    • One 60-minute massage per month, with top ups available
    • Better value than single sessions
    • A regular recovery rhythm built into your routine

    Memberships run on a rolling monthly basis, with a short minimum commitment.

  • What are Massage top-up sessions?

    Top-up sessions are available exclusively to Massage members.

    They allow you to:

    • Book additional massages at a reduced rate
    • Buy as many as you need
    • Roll unused top-ups into the following month (valid for 30 days)
    • They’re ideal during busier or more physically demanding periods.
  • Are massage blocks better value?

    Yes. If you plan to book massages regularly, blocks of 5 or 10 sessions offer better value per treatment than single appointments.

    Blocks are valid for up to 12 months, giving you flexibility while rewarding consistency, however the best value option would be our monthly massage membership.

  • Can Massage Therapy be combined with other Ten services?

    Absolutely.

    Massage Therapy works particularly well alongside:

    • Dynamic Reformer Pilates
    • Classical Equipment Pilates
    • Physiotherapy and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
    • Personal Training

    Our teams work collaboratively, so massage supports, rather than sits separately from your wider health and fitness journey.

  • Is Massage Therapy suitable if I’m new to Ten?

    Yes. Massage Therapy can be a great entry point to Ten, particularly if you’re dealing with tension, stress or physical discomfort.

    If needed, your therapist may suggest Physiotherapy or Pilates to support longer-term improvement, always based on what’s right for you.
