I love starting lower body work with a resisted clam! I love isolating those key muscles and getting the glutes firing and ready to work.
Dancing a range of styles from a young age, Katy quickly fell in love with ballet and the foundations of technique, mobility, control, and strength! She loves exercise that doesn’t feel like a chore, but a way of moving your body that feels good.
Katy studied sports therapy at university, giving her a background knowledge in anatomy, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning. During her placement hours she worked in a variety of settings from physiotherapy clinics to professional sport. Since graduating, Katy has followed a new found passion into women’s health – particularly exercises and soft tissue therapy throughout pregnancy and postnatal recovery.
Katy’s specialisms include postural work and flexibility/mobility coaching, injury rehabilitation, and postnatal exercise (including recovery from pelvic floor issues, c-section surgeries, and diastasis recti).
When she’s not working, you’ll find Katy exploring on a long walk (looking for cute dogs), scouting out the best coffee and book shops, or of course dancing!
