Qualifications:
- Chartered Physiotherapist
- MSc Advanced Practice
- BSc Health & Physical Activity
Originally from Ireland, Liam is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a strong foundation in both clinical rehabilitation and athletic performance. He holds a Master’s in Advanced Practice from King’s College London (2020), following an undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Activity, and brings a unique blend of physiotherapy and personal training experience to his practice.
Since 2016, Liam has worked across the NHS in a range of clinical settings including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, elderly care, and most recently as a First Contact Practitioner in primary care. Alongside his NHS work, he has spent the past two years in private practice, where he continues to treat a wide variety of injuries — from acute sport-related trauma to persistent chronic pain conditions.
Liam specialises in the management of neck, lower back, knee, and ankle injuries. With a long-standing background in football as a player, coach, and fan, he’s particularly passionate about helping clients return to sport as safely and efficiently as possible. His treatment philosophy is grounded in evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on patient education and active rehab. He combines manual therapy with tailored exercise programs to guide clients back to full function and long-term self-management.
He has previously mentored junior physiotherapists during his time in the NHS and brings a calm, grounded approach to both clinical care and team development. Outside the clinic, Liam is still a regular on the pitch, playing both 5-a-side and 11-a-side, and keeps his training focused around performance and injury prevention. He’s also a firm believer in good coffee and better conversation.
