Alexia is a South African Chartered Physiotherapist who trained in London. She has experience in both NHS and private musculoskeletal (MSK) clinics and is HCPC registered and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She trained in London, graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Gloucestershire in 2023, following a foundation degree in Sports Performance at Hartpury University. She is passionate about combining physiotherapy with movement-based approaches, including Pilates, to support long-term client outcomes.
Alexia’s interest in fitness and physiotherapy developed through her own experiences with injury as a professional horse rider and while playing football at university. These experiences inspired her to study Sports Performance at Hartpury University, with the aim of better understanding the body and improving her approach to treatment. This focus has shaped her physiotherapy practice, with an emphasis on strength, conditioning, and injury prevention to support both recovery and long-term physical health.
As a practitioner, Alexia takes a movement-focused approach, combining hands-on treatment with tailored exercise and strength and conditioning. She has a particular interest in managing knee and shoulder injuries, as well as supporting clients through post-operative rehabilitation. Her developing Pilates training complements her physiotherapy practice, helping her focus on movement quality, control, and long-term resilience.
Outside of the clinic, Alexia enjoys staying active through Pilates, padel, tennis, netball, and gym training. She is passionate about movement in all forms and believes in practicing what she teaches, using her own training to inspire and inform her work with clients.
