Zoe attended London Studio Centre; University of the Arts London, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to work with West End and Broadway choreographers, in London and toured nationally in several musicals, including a number of box office smashes.
 

Whist working as a professional dancer, Zoe’s Pilates practice supported her through a physically demanding schedule of 8 shows a week and helped her manage a series of severe repetitive strain injuries for years. Her trust and first hand experience of the positive health and wellbeing benefits of Pilates led her to train as a Pilates Instructor.

 

Zoe is a certified Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor, a Reformer Pilates Instructor and a qualified Classical Ballet Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has taught Pilates and Classical Ballet both the UK and Singapore.

 

An avid learner and teacher, Zoe exudes positivity in her classes and is dedicated to supporting her clients to become the strongest, agile and most confident athletes they can be. She works hard to ensure that each session combines variety, individual support and progression, within in a safe and holistic atmosphere.

 

Zoe believes that Pilates is the ultimate form of exercise to help strengthen, lengthen and tone the body, whilst also being an invaluable tool to help with rehabilitation and injury prevention.

 

Her combination of training in Pilates and Classical Ballet gives her the ability to identifying postural issues by breaking down and analysing movement in detail. Zoe is passionate about helping clients improve functional movement habits and body awareness, and seeing them gain conscious control of all movements, with sustainable effects.

Starting his career in sports at an early age, João has always been passionate about sports.

João was a professional football player for many years, playing at the highest levels and representing his country. Determined to keep football as part of his life, he enrolled in a Sports Science degree and went on to follow his dream of working in sports and fitness, as a personal trainer and also as a football coach.

Dedicated to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, João was drawn to Pilates though its focus on body posture, awareness and the establishing of effective, safe movement patterns. With a postgraduate certificate in rehabilitation and injury prevention, João’s motivation comes from his ability to guide his clients to help them reach their physical goals consciously and safely.

When not at Ten or working out, João loves to travel, hang out with friends or watch a good movie.

Fitness has been an essential element of Eleni’s life from childhood, starting with ballet and dance training as a young girl, before progressing to competitive volleyball.

In a varied and wide-ranging career, she has travelled the world as a model, developed her own dance programme fusing Latin and oriental styles, which became popular at gyms in her native Greece, and learning crossfit and stunt/fight training in order to prepare for a role in the Warner Brothers Wonder Woman movie.

The desire to share her love of exercise with others led Eleni naturally down the path of fitness professional – she is a qualified class and personal trainer and a women’s specialist. Passionate and empathic about helping women of all ages, abilities and body types feel strong, confident and comfortable in their bodies, and without the need to conform to society’s stereotypes, Eleni is qualified in pre and post natal, and pre and post menopause exercise.

For Eleni a healthy mind leads to a healthy body and vice versa. She tries to connect the mind and body in every session and believes that you should get to know your body in order to listen to it and reach its full amazing potential.

A combination of strength, flexibility and cardio makes up Eleni’s perfect workout – balanced by the calmness that Pilates and yoga brings to the soul.

Convinced that she can make anyone fall in love with exercise, she believes that the most important benefit of fitness is the smile a good workout can bring to anyone’s face.

In her spare time Eleni loves long-distance cycling, half marathons, salsa and good mystery novels.

Growing up in Australia, Kim played any sport available, from tennis, basketball, calisthenics to athletics. At the age of twelve her mum made her choose two sports she enjoyed most to continue with long term, which ended up being softball and netball. A few years later, playing competitive level in softball she developed an awareness for exercise and rehabilitation and, it’s where her interest in anatomy and physiology started.
 

Kim completed her first degree in Human Movement and Sports Science in Adelaide. Her course provided valuable exposure to populations needing lifestyle modifications and health awareness, along with the opportunity to help them. The experience inspired Kim to complete a further degree in Exercise Physiology. She then worked for two years in Australia with a variety of populations suffering from chronic musculoskeletal and clinical conditions prescribing exercise to individuals with co-morbidities, including cardiovascular, metabolic and respiratory conditions.

 

Kim joins the TenClinical team after four years experience working in the NHS at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital and brings a wealth of experience in clinical exercise prescription. This included specialised experience in diabetic populations, where she found particular satisfaction in helping her patients improve blood glucose profiles and reducing/prevent the need for further medication.

 

Kim loves helping her clients achieve their goals, big or small, and seeing the physical and mental differences these successes can make. She is massively client-focused and is an advocate of incorporating exercise into daily living whilst keeping it enjoyable. She enjoys nothing more that proving to people that you are never too young, too old or too ‘unfit’ to exercise.

Leah holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance from UWL, where she also attained her Pilates Matwork qualification.

Coming from a professional dance background, core strength and the mobility of the body have always been at the forefront of her training. After finding the benefits of Pilates truly invaluable during her pregnancy, Leah’s passion for the exercise form grew, and she has been tutoring and furthering her training ever since.

Given Leah’s former career, it probably comes as no surprise that her classes focus heavily on precision of movement and postural improvement.

Leah is a strong believer in the benefits of movement and exercise both physically and mentally, whatever the body, whatever the age, whatever the lifestyle, and is on a mission to pump the world full of happy endorphins.

Outside of dynamic Pilates training, Leah can still be found teaching/attending dance classes and training in pole fitness. She also holds a 1st Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so will have no trouble kicking butts of all shapes sizes and ages into shape!

A BSc Hons Sports & Exercise Science Graduate from the University of Ulster, Catriona has a lifelong passion for health and fitness and involvement in sport, having played Gaelic football for over 20 years.
 
It was in my latter stages of her sporting career (in her 30’s) that she discovered Pilates, its benefits enabling her to continue to compete for several years at the highest level.
 
Inspired by her personal experience of Pilates and its benefits, Catriona qualified as a Pilates instructor in 2013. Since then she has had the opportunity to work with clients of all age groups, from 6 -65, and with athletes from a range of different sports, including Gaelic Football, Soccer, Running and Cycling.
 
The requirements of many of her clients are to stay injury free and to compete at the highest possible level – motivating her to ensure that she delivers and effective and demonstrably goal-oriented programme. a programme that assists them in achieving their goals.
 
Catriona is also a physical literacy specialist coach, working with key stage 1 children within the school setting. For her of the most enjoyable aspects of working with children, is the combination of challenging ourselves to the limit without taking ourselves too seriously - an approach that she has also seen pay dividends in her Pilates classes.
 
In her spare time she enjoys a good strum on the guitar and is still trying to master the F chord.

Anser has been upbeat and active from early childhood. Always keen to develop both physically and mentally, he credits his fluency in three languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) with keeping his mind open to new influences and knowledge.

A keen footballer for many years, Anser has been passionate about exercise for as long as he can remember. Deciding to make it his career allowed him to unite his twin passions: fitness and the capability to help inspire and develop others.

With 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Anser specialises in strength and conditioning, weight loss, HiiT, core training, calisthenics and Reformer Pilates. He particularly enjoys bodyweight-based workouts, as he believes we should all be comfortable working with our own bodyweight before lifting weights.

His interest in Dynamic Pilates stems from understanding that the core provides the foundation for any functional movement. He soon realised the benefits it could offer for his own calisthenics training, not to mention it’s ability to help maximize performance in every any other sport or discipline.

While Anser enjoys socialising with friends and family, he’ll always ring-fence time each week to work on his own personal and fitness goals.

Eager to extend her knowledge and increase her skills as a Personal Trainer, she attended a private fitness school, in parallel with her studies. Throughout her career, she has continued to seek out opportunities for education and training and further enhance her abilities.

An athlete from childhood, Maria studied ballet classes and rhythmic gymnastics up until the start of her undergraduate studies. She discovered and quickly fell in love with Pilates at University.

An EREPS Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Teacher (EQF Level 4), Maria is qualified across the full range of Pilates equipment, including Mat, Reformer, Tower and Chair. For the past few years, she has worked at some of Athens’ leading private gym clubs, and more recently as a Nutritionist assistant, formulating individual diet plans for clients.

Her never-ending passion and energy to learn innovative ideas and concepts led her to relocate to London and become part of the Ten team.

Ellie’s sport and fitness journey started young, with ballet, tap and contemporary dance training. Her belief that exercise is medicine and her passion to help people made choosing a career easy. She now holds a bachelor or science degree in sport and exercise for health from the University of Kent.

Ellie has many years of experience working in rehabilitation, specialising on clients with Parkinson’s, Stroke and Cardiovascular disease.

Every spare minute away from her rehabilitation classes was spent in the gym, where Ellie discovered to find a strong link between mind and body and its positive impact on physical strength and stamina, and mental wellbeing. As a result, she was inspired to organise sporting events and provide personal training sessions for her peers at university, as a way to help battle them combat the effects of stress, and maintain mental balance and health.

With Ellie’s experience working with many different populations, it comes naturally to her to adapt to any individual in any situation.

Naturally upbeat, positive and motivated, Ellie’s goal is to inspire everyone she comes into contact with to live a more active daily lifestyle – for her, there is nothing more important than health.

Having completed a BSc in Sports Therapy, Gurdev is now in the process of completing an MSc at St Mary’s Twickenham in Strength and Conditioning, so it’s no surprise that he is able to call upon a breadth of knowledge and range of coaching methods in order to help people achieve better mobility.

 

Having previously worked with a multitude of athletes in the disciplines of Track and Field, Football, American Football and Rugby, he’s also no stranger to performance enhancement and it’s also extremely important that he is able to ensure his clients reach their goals.

 

His interest in Pilates stems from its connection to the central nervous system, which controls the body’s movement. Gurdev has found that by incorporating a range of equipment, including the Reformer, into traditional Pilates exercises, he can teach his to create, embed and maintain better patterns of movement. This means that he can enable his clients to achieve their fitness goals whilst reducing unnecessary strain on the body, and helping them avoid injury or discomfort.

 

When it comes to his own body, he has always had a keen interest in contact sports such as Boxing and Muay Thai, and he’s recently started training in the discipline of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under multiple world champion, Braulio Estima.

 

Gurdev admires Braulio as a great master of the sport, who has helped him to focus both his body and mind using similar principles to the ones that underpin Pilates.

 

It’s these principles that have helped him improve his own ability to control his body during movement, from the core and trunk through to the extremities, even under fatigue. He is now able to understand how to control his body from proximal to distal aspect. And he enjoys nothing more than transferring this knowledge to his clients.

Erica’s love and appreciation for both general fitness and precise movement started early, with classical ballet training. This dual passion for technique-driven exercise and a good old-fashioned workout can also is reflected in her many qualifications – she combines a degree in human communication science with qualifications in personal training, fitness instruction and indoor cycling.
Erica is equally happy helping people recover from serious injury (she has previously worked as an exercise rehab therapist in a clinical stroke rehabilitation unit) and pushing people to achieve their fitness goals (spin and gruelling outdoor fitness sessions are particular favourites of hers.)
For the majority of Erica’s career, she has worked for some of London's top financial institutions as a corporate fitness wellbeing advisor and personal trainer integrating health and fitness into the lives of the chronically time-poor.
Erica has a strong belief in the age old ‘healthy body, healthy mind’ motto and her passion is about making it available for all.
When not at the studio you can find her on a bike (with the latest Ibiza mixes keeping her on the pace) or tapping her toes to the beat at a Dalston jazz cafe.

Eleftheria’s journey to fitness started when she decided to study Sports Science and develop her knowledge of the human body and sports performance. In the last year of her studies, she was awarded a full scholarship in one of the best region’s fitness academies, working next and learning from some of the to leading fitness personalities in Greece.

After 2 years teaching in top health & fitness clubs and dance schools, Eleftheria came to London to do a masters in Dance Science in Trinity Laban.

Eleftheria believes that with the correct mindset, and positive people and influences around you, anything is possible – physically and in life generally.

She is currently undertaking the Comprehensive Pilates teaching diploma from Balance Body along with UKSCA’s the strength and conditioning coaching qualification.

At the same time, she takes dance classes around London keeps her training up to date with all the UK leading choreographers. Any time she is not teaching you will find her trying new body shapes and dance movements in the mirrors.

Beverley is a latecomer to teaching Pilates having spent most of her career working in the design, branding and corporate communications industry as a client director and consultant.

Although she had been very active and involved in many sports from childhood, the demands of Beverley’s corporate career became more demanding, leaving less and less time for fitness activities and the inevitable poor posture and injuries set in.

She discovered Pilates as a way to counter these issues and practised for many years. The results, and the balance of physical challenge and mental focus that her sessions provided, kept her hooked and helped her regain the strength and stability to try other activities again.

Beverley believes passionately that Pilates is the foundation for good posture and improved form in everything from everyday functional movement to excelling in sports and physical activities, and can play a massive role in rehabilitation and recovery.

She completed her Mat Pilates teaching qualifications in 2016 and switched careers straight away.

Believing it is never too late to try something new in life and Beverley gets great enjoyment and reward from teaching Pilates to clients of all ages and stages. For many of her clients, Pilates can feel like multi-tasking at the beginning, with so many things to think about. But over time the application and effort starts to bring amazing results – reinforcing Beverley’s conviction that that anything of value takes time and patience to build well.

In her spare time Beverley is very active, attending spinning and cardio-based classes. She’s also very interested in the arts and when she’s not teaching Pilates, you’re likely to find her at a gallery, immersing herself in all things creative.

Tommy has been physically active for as long as he can remember, playing recreational to semi-professional football over the years before a back condition stopped him in his tracks.

Combining a lifelong enthusiasm for movement and activity with his love of science, Tommy took his first career step by graduating from the University of Bath with an MSci Sports and Exercise Science degree.

A postgraduate season with the first team of Bristol City Football Club gave Tommy the opportunity to lead both gym and pitch based prehab/rehab sessions as well as taking the players through their strength and conditioning programs on a one to one and group basis.

It was also this experience – good as it was – that motivated him to move away from professional football and follow a deeper passion that had developed for helping people achieve their goals through exercise. Especially when underpinned by science and research.

Tommy is a firm believer that exercise is medicine. He loves helping people meet their goals no matter how big or small – meeting any goal is a step in the right direction. He is driven and enthusiastic to help empower you to reach your full potential.

In his spare time Tommy can be found in the gym, at the London Stadium watching his beloved West Ham United (which usually ends in disappointment) or exploring a new part of the world.

Originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Adrian trained as a Group Exercise Instructor in 1997 and was chosen to represent Zimbabwe in Amsterdam at the 1999 World Cup Aerobics Sport competition, where he won a gold medal in the Mixed pairs event.

Adrian decided to pursue his passion in dance and fitness by moving to the U.K in 2001. He went on to complete a Three year Dance Teacher/Performing Arts Diploma at The Centre Performing Arts in London.

Whilst studying Dance he worked in the fitness industry, and has continued to this day. He teaches a range of group exercise classes including Body conditioning, Body pump, and Core.

He qualified as a Mat Pilates teacher (VTCT Level 3) in 2015 and now runs corporate, small group, and 1:1 Mat and Reformer Pilates sessions.

He is also a tutor and assessor for Future Fit Training delivering Group Exercise courses and marking Antenatal exercise prescription portfolios.

Dynamic Reformer has been a real ‘game changer’ for Adrian and he has been blown away by the versatility and effectiveness of the practice. With such powerful movements and using the ‘time under tension’ method the participant is able to reap the rewards of Dynamic Reformer both physically and mentally.

Adrian has always had a passion for dance, music and movement and believes it is important to keep the body strong and mobile. His aim is to get you moving better and feeling great both inside and out.

Zoe attended London Studio Centre; University of the Arts London, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to work with West End and Broadway choreographers, in London and toured nationally in several musicals, including a number of box office smashes.
 

Whist working as a professional dancer, Zoe’s Pilates practice supported her through a physically demanding schedule of 8 shows a week and helped her manage a series of severe repetitive strain injuries for years. Her trust and first hand experience of the positive health and wellbeing benefits of Pilates led her to train as a Pilates Instructor.

 

Zoe is a certified Level 3 Mat Pilates Instructor, a Reformer Pilates Instructor and a qualified Classical Ballet Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance. She has taught Pilates and Classical Ballet both the UK and Singapore.

 

An avid learner and teacher, Zoe exudes positivity in her classes and is dedicated to supporting her clients to become the strongest, agile and most confident athletes they can be. She works hard to ensure that each session combines variety, individual support and progression, within in a safe and holistic atmosphere.

 

Zoe believes that Pilates is the ultimate form of exercise to help strengthen, lengthen and tone the body, whilst also being an invaluable tool to help with rehabilitation and injury prevention.

 

Her combination of training in Pilates and Classical Ballet gives her the ability to identifying postural issues by breaking down and analysing movement in detail. Zoe is passionate about helping clients improve functional movement habits and body awareness, and seeing them gain conscious control of all movements, with sustainable effects.

Anser has been upbeat and active from early childhood. Always keen to develop both physically and mentally, he credits his fluency in three languages (English, Spanish and Portuguese) with keeping his mind open to new influences and knowledge.

A keen footballer for many years, Anser has been passionate about exercise for as long as he can remember. Deciding to make it his career allowed him to unite his twin passions: fitness and the capability to help inspire and develop others.

With 10 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Anser specialises in strength and conditioning, weight loss, HiiT, core training, calisthenics and Reformer Pilates. He particularly enjoys bodyweight-based workouts, as he believes we should all be comfortable working with our own bodyweight before lifting weights.

His interest in Dynamic Pilates stems from understanding that the core provides the foundation for any functional movement. He soon realised the benefits it could offer for his own calisthenics training, not to mention it’s ability to help maximize performance in every any other sport or discipline.

While Anser enjoys socialising with friends and family, he’ll always ring-fence time each week to work on his own personal and fitness goals.

João was a professional football player for many years, playing at the highest levels and representing his country. Dedicated to helping people achieve their health and fitness goals, João was drawn to Pilates though its focus on body posture, awareness and the establishing of effective, safe movement patterns. With a postgraduate certificate in rehabilitation and injury prevention, João’s motivation comes from his ability to guide his clients to help them reach their physical goals consciously and safely.

Leah holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance from UWL, where she also attained her Pilates Matwork qualification.

Coming from a professional dance background, core strength and the mobility of the body have always been at the forefront of her training. After finding the benefits of Pilates truly invaluable during her pregnancy, Leah’s passion for the exercise form grew, and she has been tutoring and furthering her training ever since.

Given Leah’s former career, it probably comes as no surprise that her classes focus heavily on precision of movement and postural improvement.

Leah is a strong believer in the benefits of movement and exercise both physically and mentally, whatever the body, whatever the age, whatever the lifestyle, and is on a mission to pump the world full of happy endorphins.

Outside of dynamic Pilates training, Leah can still be found teaching/attending dance classes and training in pole fitness. She also holds a 1st Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so will have no trouble kicking butts of all shapes sizes and ages into shape!

Fitness has been an essential element of Eleni’s life from childhood, starting with ballet and dance training as a young girl, before progressing to competitive volleyball.

In a varied and wide-ranging career, she has travelled the world as a model, developed her own dance programme fusing Latin and oriental styles, which became popular at gyms in her native Greece, and learning crossfit and stunt/fight training in order to prepare for a role in the Warner Brothers Wonder Woman movie.

The desire to share her love of exercise with others led Eleni naturally down the path of fitness professional – she is a qualified class and personal trainer and a women’s specialist. Passionate and empathic about helping women of all ages, abilities and body types feel strong, confident and comfortable in their bodies, and without the need to conform to society’s stereotypes, Eleni is qualified in pre and post natal, and pre and post menopause exercise.

For Eleni a healthy mind leads to a healthy body and vice versa. She tries to connect the mind and body in every session and believes that you should get to know your body in order to listen to it and reach its full amazing potential.

A combination of strength, flexibility and cardio makes up Eleni’s perfect workout – balanced by the calmness that Pilates and yoga brings to the soul.

Convinced that she can make anyone fall in love with exercise, she believes that the most important benefit of fitness is the smile a good workout can bring to anyone’s face.

In her spare time Eleni loves long-distance cycling, half marathons, salsa and good mystery novels.

She speaks English, Greek and Spanish – and can teach in all 3 languages (impressive, if potentially confusing for most of us!)
