As with many elite dancers, Aydanne’s time as a ballerina didn’t come without injury. After 4 knee surgeries, she spent a lot of her time in the Pilates studio getting stronger, learning about her own body and how she could get the best from within. During this time, she also practised other forms of movement such as Yoga, Gyrotonic, Bo technique, Alexander technique and Feldenkrais. Aydanne then went on to teach Pilates because she wanted to stay connected to her body and help others do the same, gaining her first professional qualification in 2016.
In 2019, Aydanne moved to London, where she continued to teach Pilates. She is expert at uncovering the source of any “bad habits” in the way we move and using the most effective exercises to help rebuild and realign from head to toe.
Aydanne has previously worked with professional dancers, actors, opera singers, pregnant and postpartum women, and not to mention, men and women of all levels of experience who simply wish to move better. Whether she’s working with an elite athlete or someone with a sedentary lifestyle, her approach is the same – it’s all about truly respecting and understanding the body of each individual and helping her clients regain self-confidence and connection with their own bodies. | Little Venice Pilates | Book Now | 1711728000 |

During this time he also completed his Pilates training in 2003, focusing on using Pilates both as a rehabilitation tool and as a bridge between his dance and physiotherapy practice. Whilst working as a Pilates instructor from 2003 and 2005 in Madrid Antonio studied contemporary dance at the Royal Professional Dance Conservatoire (Mariemma) in Madrid in 2005. Thereafter he moved to London to undertake a more intense dance training programme, completing a Cert HE and an MA at the London Contemporary Dance School. He joined Little Venice team in 2008, and continues to work as a professional dancer and choreographer (winning a number of scholarships and awards along the way). As well as bringing his backgrounds in physiotherapy and dance, into his Pilates teaching, Antonio is interested in mental imagery, mindfulness and body awareness as tools for repatterning movement. His approach not only makes the Pilates repertoire more accessible, even to the least experienced clients, but also allows him to adapt it to match each individual client’s needs. Antonio loves working with the simplest exercises in the Reformer yet exploring them in depth. He also loves the possibilities that the Little Venice equipment offers – particularly the Cadillac – for working on spinal mobilisation and flexibility. Antonio is fluent in English and Spanish. | Little Venice Pilates | Book Now | 1712070000 |

From Athletics to Hockey, Pilates to running and Jiu Jitsu to dance she has embraced it all and will always jump feet first into new challenges. Having trained as a professional dancer and spent over a decade in the industry, she has performed in national tours, international shows, TV and Film. She has always been grateful that she was able to turn her passion into a career and was also able to gain valuable knowledge of the body, injuries and rehab throughout. She has particularly loved discovering the magic of Pilates and its power to hold the body in a balance of strength and suppleness – the key to a long, injury-free career and life.
Her years in dance led to a passion for teaching, anatomy, remedial therapy and helping people. Always keen to increase her skillset, Sarah retrained as a Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist at North London School of Sports Massage and as a Pilates instructor, through Ten’s accredited Academy.
Sarah understands the body, what it is capable of and that you can always achieve more than you believe. She particularly enjoys implementing knowledge from her dance background and clinical practice to teaching classes and training 1:1 clients. Whatever your goals may be, she will be your biggest cheerleader, main advocate for your progress and will make sure you always remember ‘you’ve got this and you’re smashing it’.
She loves to create a ‘let’s tackle this as a team’ energy with her clients and classes. Seeing a noticeable improvement in how they feel and move is what gets her out of bed in the morning! She won’t rest until you feel your best you and thriving both physically and mentally.
Sarah is rarely found sitting still and loves to keep active and creative. When she’s not working, you’ll find her in a pilates class, behind a camera, dancing on stage, making jewellery or doodling, running or walking in the great outdoors. | Ten - King's Cross | Book Now | 1712046600 |
