Kirstin Ferrie
Kirstin’s keen interest in exercise from a young age sparked her love for all sports. Leading a very physically active lifestyle, it’s no surprise that she participated in triathlon at a provincial level.

This motivated Kirstin to obtain her honours degree in Sports Science from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. It was there, during 400+ hours of work experience in prehab and improving athletic performance, that she discovered her potential to positively influence the lives of those beyond the professional athlete spectrum.

Taking a holistic approach to life, Kirstin genuinely believes movement is a medicine that can create change in a person’s physical, emotional and mental states.

Kirstin has a passion for working with clients to provide individualised exercise prescription that is enjoyable for each person. In doing so, she is able to help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression, and improve quality of life by boosting strength, stability, flexibility and confidence, whilst applying all the scientific foundations of sports science. Helping others keeps Kirstin inspired – there’s nothing she loves more than guiding them to achieve their goals, being part of their progress and putting a smile on their faces.

Simone Leask
Simone discovered her love for the health and fitness industry back in New Zealand while studying at university, where her journey began in the comfort of her own apartment doing Youtube workouts between classes.

When she realised that an office job wasn’t for her, she turned to personal training and fitness instruction, determined to help others find a healthy relationship with their bodies and exercise. Since then she has explored a wide range of different workout styles including strength training and HIIT, however she has always enjoyed and returned to Pilates, loving the core strength and improvements in her flexibility that she has noticed after her sessions.

After moving to London Simone decided to take another step in her fitness career and become a qualified Pilates instructor, with the desire to teach and show others the benefits of Pilates.

Overall Simone strongly believes that health and fitness should be a positive and fun journey for everyone. She brings a bubbly, welcoming energy to each of her classes and uses this to help motivate and challenge each participant, leaving them feeling great and wanting more!

Outside of teaching Simone has a strong passion for Aerial Circus, and you’ll often find her hanging from the ceiling off silks and hoops. She also loves travelling and exploring different cultures and cuisine and taking mini get-aways to new locations.

Maya Culin
Maya has always had a passion for movement, starting ballet classes at just 3 years old. What she didn’t know then was that this would spark the beginning of a lifelong movement and fitness journey.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Maya had been a ‘Peak Performance’ student, training seriously in dance whilst attending secondary school. She was first introduced to Pilates and the Reformer as part of her early dance training programme, and the strength and body awareness she gained from Pilates practice soon became obvious. As is common with dancers, Maya underwent rehabilitation for an injury and attributes Pilates and cross-training to her speedy recovery. Through this experience, she came to understand the importance of maintaining a strong core and using the right muscles correctly and effectively to prevent injury, pain and imbalance.

Maya moved to London in 2016 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. She obtained her Diploma in Professional Dance from Performers College and has embraced life in London, which she now calls home. Upon graduating, Maya’s growing interest in health and fitness led her to continue her education and gain qualifications in Personal Training, Group Exercise and Indoor Cycling.

Maya’s experience teaching dance has helped her to establish a fun, positive, approachable teaching style that is goal-oriented, and she strives to create a space to learn without fear of judgement. Maya is always excited to work with others on their fitness and health journeys.

When Maya is not helping clients achieve their fitness goals, she can be found dancing and creating choreography that inspires her.

Gabriella Tonini
Born in South Africa, Gabriella grew up with a passion for tennis, achieving full colours at school. She went on to coach younger children, which was her first foray into teaching and sharing her knowledge. Seeing others make progress as a result of her input was incredibly satisfying, and this remains a strong driving force in Gabriella’s training focus.

Gabriella’s mother ran an established Stott Pilates studio in Johannesburg, and as a student, she gravitated towards it as another outlet for her increasing interest in training. She completed the Stott Pilates courses in Matwork, Total Barre and Reformer and received her Stott Pilates Instructor Certification for Total Barre, Matwork Essential & Intermediate. Gabriella then moved to London in 2020 to continue her career in Pilates.

Being an extravert, Gabriella loves interacting with people – particularly in a class environment, which stimulates movement and energy. She thrives when she’s able to help others focus their minds on their bodies, and in turn improve mobility and strengthen the all-important supporting muscle groups. A true people person, her genuine interest and care for clients ensure a fully rounded and enjoyable workout without any risk of injury.

“Working with people, exercising, improving the movement of our bodies and sharing what I know with others is what I love to do, so here I am ‘living the dream’” says Gabriella.

When Gabriella is not teaching, she still enjoys her tennis and new found love of gardening.

Jennifer Bentley
From a young age Jen practised various disciplines of dance, including Ballet and Tap, and also Disco dancing, where she regularly danced competitively at events across the country. The first time she experienced Pilates was during dance classes as a teen, and was intrigues from the outset.

Whilst she loved her years of dancing, she moved to Bristol aged 18 to study a BA in Primary Teaching. Despite graduating with a 2.1 degree, she quickly realised that the school classroom was not for her, and that her true passion and vocation lay in movement and fitness.

In 2010 she completed her Level 3 Personal Training qualification and since then has have worked many of London’s leading gyms and fitness studios training clients 1-1 and leading TRX and PowerPlate classes. She later went on to gain her Mat Pilates certificate.

Jen credits Pilates entirely for allowing her to regain her core strength and stability and getting her back into shape quickly after the birth of her son over 4 years ago. What she loves most about Pilates is the amount of focus needed in order to execute each exercise with control and precision. Unsurprisingly, her classes will encourage you to zone out from all other distractions so you can achieve a great mind-body connection that lets you feel each movement – and its benefits.

In her free time you will find Jen spending time with her little boy and trying out different food spots in London – she does love a naughty burger – which she will burn off later at the gym!
