With a degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and a breadth of clinical experience in both Australia and the UK, Liam brings and in-depth understanding of anatomy and pathology to his classes.
 
With a background in dance and mat work pilates he places great emphasis on control and technique, whilst still making sure his sessions challenge his clients’ physical and fitness limits.
 
Liam chose to complete the TenAcademy in Dynamic Reformer Pilates to help teach his clients how to better control their body, get them stronger and ultimately moving better in daily life.
 
As a practicing Physiotherapist, Liam has extensive experience in exercise rehabilitation so for anyone looking for a rehabilitative or prehabilitative pilates experience his class are not to be missed. Classes can often have a yoga or dance element infused to broaden the client experience.
 
Bringing an upbeat and infectious energy (impressively even in his 7am session– Liam’s definitely a morning person), you won't leave his class without a smile, some aching muscles and a few beads of sweat.

Ellie has many years of experience working in rehabilitation, specialising on clients with Parkinson’s, Stroke and Cardiovascular disease.

Every spare minute away from her rehabilitation classes was spent in the gym, where Ellie discovered to find a strong link between mind and body and its positive impact on physical strength and stamina, and mental wellbeing. As a result, she was inspired to organise sporting events and provide personal training sessions for her peers at university, as a way to help battle them combat the effects of stress, and maintain mental balance and health.

Ten HIIT is an exciting and dynamic circuit based workout. Taking the best from High Intensity Interval Training, Circuits, Boxing and Strength training, our expert trainers are sure to get your heart and body temperature up for these 45 minute sessions.

No prior experience is needed, as we will work to challenge everyone in these small group sessions to maximise results and improve overall fitness.
 
The aim is to fatigue the muscles and challenge the body.
It’s a gym workout not a Pilates class, so please remember to bring your training shoes.
 
Please note, this is an intense and demanding class and you should not attend if you are injured.
Adina Thomas
Adina has been teaching fitness for over 15 years. Having gained her Exercise to Music qualification with the YMCA, she completed a degree in Health and Fitness at London University and has since gained a variety of fitness-based qualifications along the way.

Combining her love of dance and fitness, Adina has worked with a wide range of clients from pensioners and people with disabilities to elite athletes, musicians and dancers. She’s an advocate for promoting fitness in the community and has set up exercise therapy programmes for people with acquired brain injuries as well as running exercise sessions for cardiac rehab patients.

After years of teaching high energy, high impact classes Adina discovered Pilates. Not only did she discover that this was the perfect solution for rebalancing her body, it also prompted her to deepen her understanding of the anatomy of movement,

Adina went on to spend 18 months studying the classical mat and apparatus syllabus with the prestigious Pilates Foundation UK, and has now been teaching Pilates in top studios, gyms and physio centres for the past 10 years.

Adina finds that teaching Dynamic Reformer at ten is the perfect combination for her fitness and Pilates skills. Expect her classes to be high octane, but with a keen focus on correct alignment and execution of the exercises – particularly as a means of injury prevention.

In her spare time Adina loves jogging along London’s canal pathways. Relaxation? Settling down with an inspiring autobiography does the trick.

Claire Carmichael
Up until a couple of years ago, Claire was a fitness ‘weekend warrior’. She spent her working day deskbound, hitting the gym in any free time that she could find, loving the feeling of escaping the daily stresses and focusing her mind on getting stronger and fitter.

Wanting a change of direction and lifestyle, Claire made the decision to turn her passion into her career, and hasn’t looked back since. She is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer, working with clients in a one on one environment, and also teaching classes to small groups of people, with a focus on fun and fitness.

Having also recently undertaken a qualification in sports massage, Claire focuses heavily on assessing and correcting poor posture caused by the pressures of modern life, while also increasing strength and fitness levels. Mobility plays a big part in her sessions – and also in my own training regime – as it is such an important factor in restoring flexibility and correct movement patterns.

Claire is an advocate of introducing weight training into everyone’s routines, as much for general health benefits as for specific strength and weight loss goals. It is essential for good form and technique, even with the smallest of weights, and for she teaches this over everything.

She has chosen to teach HIIT because she believes it’s a great way to challenge and enjoy yourself – two reasons why it always has a place in her own training schedule.

Claire is currently preparing to compete in a fitness modelling competition, so in her spare time, she can be found doing plenty of research into bodybuilding, in the gym or socialising.

Our Prenatal Dynamic Pilates class is a specifically designed, safe pregnancy workout for women in their 2nd and 3rd trimester. Women in their 1st trimester are welcome in our Beginners classes, but please consult with a TenPilates trainer before booking.

Ten HIIT is an exciting and dynamic circuit based workout. Taking the best from High Intensity Interval Training, Circuits, Boxing and Strength training, our expert trainers are sure to get your heart and body temperature up for these 45 minute sessions.

No prior experience is needed, as we will work to challenge everyone in these small group sessions to maximise results and improve overall fitness.

Wanting a change of direction and lifestyle, Claire made the decision to turn her passion into her career, and hasn’t looked back since. She is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer, working with clients in a one on one environment, and also teaching classes to small groups of people, with a focus on fun and fitness.

Having also recently undertaken a qualification in sports massage, Claire focuses heavily on assessing and correcting poor posture caused by the pressures of modern life, while also increasing strength and fitness levels. Mobility plays a big part in her sessions – and also in my own training regime – as it is such an important factor in restoring flexibility and correct movement patterns.

Claire is an advocate of introducing weight training into everyone’s routines, as much for general health benefits as for specific strength and weight loss goals. It is essential for good form and technique, even with the smallest of weights, and for she teaches this over everything.

She has chosen to teach HIIT because she believes it’s a great way to challenge and enjoy yourself – two reasons why it always has a place in her own training schedule.

After completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame in Perth, Western Australia, Kendall went straight into clinical musculoskeletal practice. Here, she found Pilates was a fantastic and efficient way to rehab clients ranging from the desk bound to elite athletes. Not only did she find it effective with her clients but with her own aches and pains, so much now she is super passionate about it and wants everyone to experience the great results she herself gained.
