Please note that if you have not been referred to this class by a Trainer, Physiotherapist or Clinician, you'll need to arrange Initial Assessment before booking a class.

In the class you’ll use a combination of equipment and exercises that best suits you, including Reformer, Ladder Barrel, TRX, bosu and much more! Other Physiotherapy techniques such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue release and taping can be included as well.

Everyone can benefit from Physio-led Pilates classes! Whether you are hoping to continue your rehabilitation, have a big event coming up, want to be prepared for surgery or are keen to manage a chronic condition, your needs can be accommodated!

 

Elle Rich (Physio)
Elle’s Physiotherapy background gives her an edge in understanding movement and pathology. She takes this knowledge with her into every class she teaches. She loves a detailed explanation of any aches and pains so that she can keep an extra close eye on your form and address these in the structure of her class.

She has completed a number of courses and has extensive Pilates and functional exercise rehabilitation experience. Elle has played most sports so has a sound understanding of form and requirements. She particularly enjoys working together with motivated clients to achieve their goals and sharing their success

In her free time Elle likes go to the gym, yoga, Pilates and dance classes

Whilst she loved her years of dancing, she moved to Bristol aged 18 to study a BA in Primary Teaching. Despite graduating with a 2.1 degree, she quickly realised that the school classroom was not for her, and that her true passion and vocation lay in movement and fitness.

In 2010 she completed her Level 3 Personal Training qualification and since then has have worked many of London’s leading gyms and fitness studios training clients 1-1 and leading TRX and PowerPlate classes. She later went on to gain her Mat Pilates certificate.

Jen credits Pilates entirely for allowing her to regain her core strength and stability and getting her back into shape quickly after the birth of her son over 4 years ago. What she loves most about Pilates is the amount of focus needed in order to execute each exercise with control and precision. London’s first Reformer-based stretch class, TenStretch, uses one the most versatile pieces of exercise equipment available, to enable a deeper, more effective stretch than you could achieve unassisted. Although the class will improve all-round flexibility and mobility, we place specific focus on the problem areas and muscle groups most adversely affected by the muscular imbalances and postural challenges of 21st century living.

Frances has had a love for sport as long as she can remember. Over the course of her degree, Frances developed a passion for exercise prescription and lifestyle modification, wanting to help people move better whilst living heathier and happier lives.

Frances enjoys the client journey, focusing on all aspects of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle to achieve the kind of functional and sustainable results that will benefit a client every single day. She works to the needs of the body, developing strength and flexibility whilst identifying and correcting muscular imbalances created by our 21st century lifestyle to minimise the risk of injury.

Frances loves nothing more than proving to someone that they can do something and that, with the right attitude, anyone can achieve anything.

Over the past three years, she has worked with a range of clients from age 16 to late 80s with both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. She has helped people from all walks of life achieve their goals, whether that’s to return to walking unaided right through to helping clients return to top-level competitive sport.

Aurelie Leonard (Massage)
Aurelie is a French trained Massage Therapist/Physiotherapist. She graduated in 2007 from IFMK in Montpellier, spending the next 7 years working in private practice, giving her a grounding in the management of a wide variety of patients and conditions from sports injuries to chronic musculo-skeletal disorders.

Aurelie is passionate about and excited by adventure, sport and movement. She has travelled extensively, developing her knowledge of holistic medicine, psychology of health and well-being.

While in Thailand she trained in Nuad Boran Thai; a traditional healing treatment that treats pain and diseases related to chronical myo-fascial tensions through pressure on trigger points located along muscle and tendon lines. Whilst there, she also completed her training in reflexology and deep abdomen therapeutic massage.

Aurelie relocated to London in Spring 2015 and joined the TenPhysio team in Hatton Garden as a Sports Massage Therapist. With her extensive knowledge of the human body and her passion for hands on soft tissue work, her patients are in good hands.

In her spare time, she’s a keen runner and climber and enjoys reading, healthy food and promoting projects to protect the environment.

Frances has had a love for sport as long as she can remember. Running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings aged eight eventually evolved into a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University (though she can still be found running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings).

Over the course of her degree, Frances developed a passion for exercise prescription and lifestyle modification, wanting to help people move better whilst living heathier and happier lives.

Aurelie Leonard (Massage)
Aurelie is a French trained Massage Therapist/Physiotherapist. She graduated in 2007 from IFMK in Montpellier, spending the next 7 years working in private practice, giving her a grounding in the management of a wide variety of patients and conditions from sports injuries to chronic musculo-skeletal disorders.

Aurelie is passionate about and excited by adventure, sport and movement. She has travelled extensively, developing her knowledge of holistic medicine, psychology of health and well-being.

While in Thailand she trained in Nuad Boran Thai; a traditional healing treatment that treats pain and diseases related to chronical myo-fascial tensions through pressure on trigger points located along muscle and tendon lines. Whilst there, she also completed her training in reflexology and deep abdomen therapeutic massage.

Aurelie relocated to London in Spring 2015 and joined the TenPhysio team in Hatton Garden as a Sports Massage Therapist. With her extensive knowledge of the human body and her passion for hands on soft tissue work, her patients are in good hands.

In her spare time, she’s a keen runner and climber and enjoys reading, healthy food and promoting projects to protect the environment.

The aim is to fatigue the muscles and challenge the body.

Claire Carmichael
Up until a couple of years ago, Claire was a fitness ‘weekend warrior’. She spent her working day deskbound, hitting the gym in any free time that she could find, loving the feeling of escaping the daily stresses and focusing her mind on getting stronger and fitter.

Wanting a change of direction and lifestyle, Claire made the decision to turn her passion into her career, and hasn’t looked back since. She is a Level 3 qualified personal trainer, working with clients in a one on one environment, and also teaching classes to small groups of people, with a focus on fun and fitness.

Having also recently undertaken a qualification in sports massage, Claire focuses heavily on assessing and correcting poor posture caused by the pressures of modern life, while also increasing strength and fitness levels. Mobility plays a big part in her sessions – and also in my own training regime – as it is such an important factor in restoring flexibility and correct movement patterns.

Claire is an advocate of introducing weight training into everyone’s routines, as much for general health benefits as for specific strength and weight loss goals. It is essential for good form and technique, even with the smallest of weights, and for she teaches this over everything.

She has chosen to teach HIIT because she believes it’s a great way to challenge and enjoy yourself – two reasons why it always has a place in her own training schedule.

Claire is currently preparing to compete in a fitness modelling competition, so in her spare time, she can be found doing plenty of research into bodybuilding, in the gym or socialising.

Sarah Evans (Physio)
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Sarah is an experienced Sports Massage Therapist with a background in Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy.

She was introduced to the world of rehab and physical therapy through an internship in a Pilates studio in America. Inspired by the use of Pilates in the rehabilitation of injured athletes, she studied Sports and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University.

She graduated with a First Class Honours degree and was awarded for Outstanding Academic Achievement. During her time in Leeds, she also qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist (ITEC level 3). In 2014, she completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy with Merit at King’s College London.

In addition to treating everyday aches and pains for clients from all walks of life, Sarah has gained valuable experience treating a variety of athletes from recreational to elite levels. She has worked across an impressive array of sports including rugby, basketball, volleyball, athletics, gymnastics, football, swimming, long distance running, tennis, and cycling – to list just a few.

She also has a keen interested in clinical Pilates; she has completed a Mat work level 1 workshop and enjoys doing Pilates in her free time.

The approach that Sarah takes is based on combining her knowledge and experiences in Sports Massage, Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy. She adapts her treatments depending on the individual, combining massage, joint mobilisations, stretching and self-management advice.

Kenny Knight
Kenny has always competed in sports since primary school in his home town of Brighton.

Although he has always made it a priority to stay fit and to participate in and enjoy exercise, it was only when he moved to Vietnam and stopped drinking and smoking that his approach to life became a vocation.

Having worked as a teacher in Vietnam for 9 months Kenny relocated to London committing to the decision to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a stuntman.

Three years later he has a black belt in Judo and qualifications in Boxing, Rock Climbing, Scuba Diving and Swimming. His next challenge is to pass a high diving exam and then he will be signed off and qualified to set himself on fire and fall from high buildings!

Kenny believes that the proven classic training routines and styles are still the best way to achieve results effectively and safely, but considers that there is always room for a new classic! So he is always exploring innovative and exciting ways to enhance his clients’ programmes and help his clients get, and keep, fit,

Kenny embraced the opportunity to join the Ten team to help him develop and adapt his training methods to help clients with injuries and expand his own knowledge.

Ten HIIT is an exciting and dynamic circuit based workout. Taking the best from High Intensity Interval Training, Circuits, Boxing and Strength training, our expert trainers are sure to get your heart and body temperature up for these 45 minute sessions.

No prior experience is needed, as we will work to challenge everyone in these small group sessions to maximise results and improve overall fitness.
 
The aim is to fatigue the muscles and challenge the body.
It’s a gym workout not a Pilates class, so please remember to bring your training shoes.
 
Please note, this is an intense and demanding class and you should not attend if you are injured.

Kenny has always competed in sports since primary school in his home town of Brighton.

Although he has always made it a priority to stay fit and to participate in and enjoy exercise, it was only when he moved to Vietnam and stopped drinking and smoking that his approach to life became a vocation.

Having worked as a teacher in Vietnam for 9 months Kenny relocated to London committing to the decision to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a stuntman.

Three years later he has a black belt in Judo and qualifications in Boxing, Rock Climbing, Scuba Diving and Swimming. His next challenge is to pass a high diving exam and then he will be signed off and qualified to set himself on fire and fall from high buildings!

Kenny believes that the proven classic training routines and styles are still the best way to achieve results effectively and safely, but considers that there is always room for a new classic! So he is always exploring innovative and exciting ways to enhance his clients’ programmes and help his clients get, and keep, fit,

Kenny embraced the opportunity to join the Ten team to help him develop and adapt his training methods to help clients with injuries and expand his own knowledge.

Please note that if you have not been referred to this class by a Trainer, Physiotherapist or Clinician, you'll need to arrange Initial Assessment before booking a class.

In the class you’ll use a combination of equipment and exercises that best suits you, including Reformer, Ladder Barrel, TRX, bosu and much more! Other Physiotherapy techniques such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue release and taping can be included as well.

Everyone can benefit from Physio-led Pilates classes! Whether you are hoping to continue your rehabilitation, have a big event coming up, want to be prepared for surgery or are keen to manage a chronic condition, your needs can be accommodated!

 

Sarah Evans (Physio)
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Sarah is an experienced Sports Massage Therapist with a background in Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy.

She was introduced to the world of rehab and physical therapy through an internship in a Pilates studio in America. Inspired by the use of Pilates in the rehabilitation of injured athletes, she studied Sports and Exercise Therapy at Leeds Beckett University.

She graduated with a First Class Honours degree and was awarded for Outstanding Academic Achievement. During her time in Leeds, she also qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist (ITEC level 3). In 2014, she completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy with Merit at King’s College London.

In addition to treating everyday aches and pains for clients from all walks of life, Sarah has gained valuable experience treating a variety of athletes from recreational to elite levels. She has worked across an impressive array of sports including rugby, basketball, volleyball, athletics, gymnastics, football, swimming, long distance running, tennis, and cycling – to list just a few.

She also has a keen interested in clinical Pilates; she has completed a Mat work level 1 workshop and enjoys doing Pilates in her free time.

The approach that Sarah takes is based on combining her knowledge and experiences in Sports Massage, Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy. She adapts her treatments depending on the individual, combining massage, joint mobilisations, stretching and self-management advice.

Given Leah’s former career, it probably comes as no surprise that her classes focus heavily on precision of movement and postural improvement.

Frances has had a love for sport as long as she can remember. Running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings aged eight eventually evolved into a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University (though she can still be found running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings).

Over the course of her degree, Frances developed a passion for exercise prescription and lifestyle modification, wanting to help people move better whilst living heathier and happier lives.

Ten HIIT is an exciting and dynamic circuit based workout. Taking the best from High Intensity Interval Training, Circuits, Boxing and Strength training, our expert trainers are sure to get your heart and body temperature up for these 45 minute sessions.

No prior experience is needed, as we will work to challenge everyone in these small group sessions to maximise results and improve overall fitness.
 
The aim is to fatigue the muscles and challenge the body.
It’s a gym workout not a Pilates class, so please remember to bring your training shoes.
 
Please note, this is an intense and demanding class and you should not attend if you are injured.
