Aurelie Leonard (Massage)
Aurelie is a French trained Massage Therapist/Physiotherapist. She graduated in 2007 from IFMK in Montpellier, spending the next 7 years working in private practice, giving her a grounding in the management of a wide variety of patients and conditions from sports injuries to chronic musculo-skeletal disorders.

Aurelie is passionate about and excited by adventure, sport and movement. She has travelled extensively, developing her knowledge of holistic medicine, psychology of health and well-being.

While in Thailand she trained in Nuad Boran Thai; a traditional healing treatment that treats pain and diseases related to chronical myo-fascial tensions through pressure on trigger points located along muscle and tendon lines. Whilst there, she also completed her training in reflexology and deep abdomen therapeutic massage.

Aurelie relocated to London in Spring 2015 and joined the TenPhysio team in Hatton Garden as a Sports Massage Therapist. With her extensive knowledge of the human body and her passion for hands on soft tissue work, her patients are in good hands.

In her spare time, she’s a keen runner and climber and enjoys reading, healthy food and promoting projects to protect the environment.

A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results. 55 mins.

Frances Bowden
Frances has had a love for sport as long as she can remember. Running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings aged eight eventually evolved into a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University (though she can still be found running around a hockey field on frosty Sunday mornings).

Over the course of her degree, Frances developed a passion for exercise prescription and lifestyle modification, wanting to help people move better whilst living heathier and happier lives.

Frances enjoys the client journey, focusing on all aspects of exercise, nutrition and lifestyle to achieve the kind of functional and sustainable results that will benefit a client every single day. She works to the needs of the body, developing strength and flexibility whilst identifying and correcting muscular imbalances created by our 21st century lifestyle to minimise the risk of injury.

Frances loves nothing more than proving to someone that they can do something and that, with the right attitude, anyone can achieve anything.

Over the past three years, she has worked with a range of clients from age 16 to late 80s with both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. She has helped people from all walks of life achieve their goals, whether that’s to return to walking unaided right through to helping clients return to top-level competitive sport.

Dynamic Reformer Pilates adds another string to Frances’ bow and she is passionate about its seemingly unlimited potential for rehab and for developing the building blocks for functional strength training.

Upbeat, encouraging and super-smiley, Frances brings a warmth and infectious enthusiasm to her classes – along with a breadth of technical knowledge and experience.

Tue 11 December7:00amTenHiiT
Ten HIIT is an exciting and dynamic circuit based workout. Taking the best from High Intensity Interval Training, Circuits, Boxing and Strength training, our expert trainers are sure to get your heart and body temperature up for these 45 minute sessions.

No prior experience is needed, as we will work to challenge everyone in these small group sessions to maximise results and improve overall fitness.

The aim is to fatigue the muscles and challenge the body.
It’s a gym workout not a Pilates class, so please remember to bring your training shoes.

Please note, this is an intense and demanding class and you should not attend if you are injured.
Emil Kalinowski
Emil wasn’t always into fitness. Quite the opposite: he was seriously overweight, a heavy smoker living off Subway sandwiches and greasy chicken wings. One day he decided that he had enough of unhealthy living and signed up to the nearest gym. The results were – quite literally – transformational.

Emil not only managed to overcome his own weakness to make life-changing differences to his diet, health and body composition, but also quickly began to realize there is much more to fitness than just the physical aspect.

Emil left his comfortable work as a concierge in a 5-star hotels, traveled around Brazil and returned to London to join Ten to work as a Front of House Assistant to get a better understanding of clients needs and aspirations.

While working for Ten behind the desk, Emil was also working on his formal fitness qualifications, including Level 3 in Personal Training, L2 Fitness Instructor, Kettlebell Instructor and Suspension Training (TRX).

Today health and fitness is not just Emil’s job, it’s part of his daily life and personal success.

Passionate about helping his clients to experience what he has experienced, Emil puts a lot of emphasis on big, multi-joint movements, to make his sessions as effective and efficient as possible for anyone who is looking to get stronger, leaner and happier.

In his spare time Emil is cycling around London and trying out different fitness classes that this amazing city has to offer. From Strongman classes, through EMS (muscle contractions using electric impulses…not an experience he’ll be repeating), to Yoga, – and Pilates of course.

Maritina Antonoglou

Having grown up in Greece, it’s no surprise that Maritina developed a love for the water from a young age. At 9 years old, she started swimming competitively and she went on to achieve several national championship titles throughout her career. And it’s the countless hours that she spent training both in and out of the pool, that inspired her interest in human physiology.

Keen to develop this interest further, Maritina went on to complete a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences in the UK. She achieved First Class Honours and her academic success saw her rewarded with an NHS placement. There she gained extensive experience in cardiac rehabilitation by working closely with patients, and focusing on exercise prescription and lifestyle modification.

Inspired by this placement and eager to further develop, she went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Science at the University of Portsmouth. The course gave her both valuable scientific based knowledge and practical 1-1 experience with a variety of special populations who suffered with chronic clinical conditions. Specifically, she spent a year working for the NHS team based in Portsmouth and Southampton Hospitals, specialising in clinical exercise delivery and prescription for cardiovascular, neurological, oncology and respiratory conditions.

On a personal level, Maritina finds purpose in helping people from all walks of life to live happier and healthier lives. She believes that even small changes can make a huge difference to some one’s life, and she loves to be part of their journey as the discover that – seeing them achieve physical and mental improvements with her support helps too!

Jennifer Bentley
From a young age Jen practised various disciplines of dance, including Ballet and Tap, and also Disco dancing, where she regularly danced competitively at events across the country. The first time she experienced Pilates was during dance classes as a teen, and was intrigues from the outset.

Whilst she loved her years of dancing, she moved to Bristol aged 18 to study a BA in Primary Teaching. Despite graduating with a 2.1 degree, she quickly realised that the school classroom was not for her, and that her true passion and vocation lay in movement and fitness.

In 2010 she completed her Level 3 Personal Training qualification and since then has have worked many of London’s leading gyms and fitness studios training clients 1-1 and leading TRX and PowerPlate classes. She later went on to gain her Mat Pilates certificate.

Jen credits Pilates entirely for allowing her to regain her core strength and stability and getting her back into shape quickly after the birth of her son over 4 years ago. What she loves most about Pilates is the amount of focus needed in order to execute each exercise with control and precision. Unsurprisingly, her classes will encourage you to zone out from all other distractions so you can achieve a great mind-body connection that lets you feel each movement – and its benefits.

In her free time you will find Jen spending time with her little boy and trying out different food spots in London – she does love a naughty burger – which she will burn off later at the gym!

Leah holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance from UWL, where she also attained her Pilates Matwork qualification.

Coming from a professional dance background, core strength and the mobility of the body have always been at the forefront of her training. Given Leah’s former career, it probably comes as no surprise that her classes focus heavily on precision of movement and postural improvement.

Leah is a strong believer in the benefits of movement and exercise both physically and mentally, whatever the body, whatever the age, whatever the lifestyle, and is on a mission to pump the world full of happy endorphins.

Outside of dynamic Pilates training, Leah can still be found teaching/attending dance classes and training in pole fitness. She also holds a 1st Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so will have no trouble kicking butts of all shapes sizes and ages into shape!

Rhys Mehlstaubler
Growing up in Australia, sport and fitness has always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I could run or catch I have been obsessed with movement, and luckily the fitness industry has provided the ideal environment for me to combine my love of exercise with the personal satisfaction I get from helping people achieve their goals – in short, my dream job.

As a personal trainer I take great pride in my ability to deliver fun, engaging and challenging sessions.

I have particularly focused on strength and HiiT training – my two passions – and place great emphasis on the importance of correct form and fluid movement to achieve excellent results, whether that’s for an athlete looking for an extra burst of speed or for an office worker or stay-at-home mum looking to lose weight and improve their day-to-day strength and fitness.

In my free time I simply enjoy all London has to offer as I plot my next adventure around Europe.

A step up in pace and intensity, and definitely not for first-timers. Expect a varied and challenging workout with more functional progressions and an emphasis firmly on effort and results. 45 mins.
Leah Willoughby
Leah holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Dance from UWL, where she also attained her Pilates Matwork qualification.

Coming from a professional dance background, core strength and the mobility of the body have always been at the forefront of her training. After finding the benefits of Pilates truly invaluable during her pregnancy, Leah’s passion for the exercise form grew, and she has been tutoring and furthering her training ever since.

Mon 17 December1:15pmBeginners - Dynamic Reformer Pilates
No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going. 55 mins.
