For the past few years, she has worked at some of Athens’ leading private gym clubs, and more recently as a Nutritionist assistant, formulating individual diet plans for clients.

Her never-ending passion and energy to learn innovative ideas and concepts led her to relocate to London and become part of the Ten team.

Dee’s journey into fitness started at the age of 21 with Bikram Yoga after a pelvis injury opened her eyes into the importance of looking after the body. After practicing for 4-years she took her first yoga teacher training in Anusara yoga in the U.K. before continuing her education in Pre & Postnatal yoga.

Recreationally she had already started to explore the art of Qi Gong and Martial arts, leading her to move to China and learn more of these ancient disciplines.

Whilst in China, Dee took her studies at Beijing Sports University, where she studied Sports rehabilitation through Chinese massage and medicine.

Keen to broaden her knowledge even further, Dee went in search of something that was not only versatile but would complement her previous experience and skills. Pilates was the answer, and she quickly fell in love with its principles and effectiveness with a range of uses from rehabilitation and sports performance to general body conditioning and functional movement.

Dee has since trained with various different Pilates bodies and educators from Australia, Asia and America and has completed Polestar Pilates Comprehensive studio training programme and Network Pilates Australia Mat and Pre/Post natal training programme. She has over 5-years teaching experience and has recently returned back to the UK after living abroad.

To stay grounded Dee meditates daily, practices Pilates with various instructors and runs in London’s parks. She also enjoys exploring different countries and cultures and generally likes being outdoors. Her goal in life is to continue learning and challenging herself whilst maintaining a healthy mind and body.

Specifically, she spent a year working for the NHS team based in Portsmouth and Southampton Hospitals, specialising in clinical exercise delivery and prescription for cardiovascular, neurological, oncology and respiratory conditions.

On a personal level, Maritina finds purpose in helping people from all walks of life to live happier and healthier lives. Adam Hewitt
Adam has always been passionate about health and wellness. His skillset ranges from training high performance athletes through to clinical rehabilitation.

Always with a smile on his face you can guarantee Adam will be committed and detailed in his approach to reach your health and fitness goal. And with a background in corrective exercise, you will be training in the way that’s best for you.

Adam participated in a variety of sports from athletics, rugby, judo and football – all at county level – before coaching and then studying for an Honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science.

Adam graduated in 2007 and went on to train high performance tennis players at a top tennis academy in Surrey, working closely with physiotherapists and tennis coaches.

Always keen to continue learning (and equally keen to continually push himself) Adam went on to complete a Masters in Strength and Conditioning at Middlesex University in 2013 graduating with Merit, whilst also working full time at a Tennis Academy.

Clinical exercise prescription and rehabilitation quickly became a love for Adam. Before joining the Ten team in 2017, he managed a rehabilitation company on Harley Street specialising in cancer and cardiac care.

You’ll rarely see Adam without a theraband in his hand. He loves corrective functional exercise, and his classes combine an infectious energy and sense of fun with a depth of technical knowledge – and always with functional fitness as the end goal.

Sahanna Anandarasa (Physio/Pilates)
Sahanna graduated from LaTrobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice in 2014, and has since undertaken post-graduate training in Clinical Pilates.

Attracted to Pilates through her own first-hand experience of its ability to manage a wealth of dance related injuries, predominantly low back pain, Sahanna has both an in depth understanding and appreciation of the anatomy behind exercises and its role in rehabilitation and injury prevention.

As such, her classes focus greatly on precise technique and control of movement whilst still challenging her clients’ physical capacity and fitness.

Sahanna has recently moved to London and is looking forward to exploring everything London has to offer. In her spare time you’ll likely find her hiking up mountains, in a Pilates class, or satisfying her love for food and coffee.

Believing it is never too late to try something new in life and Beverley gets great enjoyment and reward from teaching Pilates to clients of all ages and stages. For many of her clients, Pilates can feel like multi-tasking at the beginning, with so many things to think about.
