No prior experience is necessary for this class; a basic level of fitness is helpful but not essential. Clients are introduced to the equipment, techniques and some basic exercises. Recommended as your first class with Ten or for those of you who would like to practice at a gentler pace - though it's still more than enough of a workout to get those all important endorphins going.
John Alexander
John has been working within the fitness industry for 15 years, honing his knowledge and expertise through an extensive range of client goals, ambitions and transformations. John celebrates everyone’s diversity and is passionate that understanding his clients needs, abilities and preferences is key to forming long lasting and meaningful changes. With a client history that includes international figure skaters, the GB women’s ice hockey team, GB women’s rugby, 2nd division men’s rugby, IFBB pro body builders and wheelchair basketballers, he has cultivated many techniques and methods in movement and nutrition to ensure he brings out the best in his clients.

John’s own sporting background includes gymnastics, rugby and javelin; although there isn’t likely to be a sport or form of movement that he hasn’t tried! This inspires John’s training and coaching ethos of three driving principles: stabilise, mobilise, then strengthen. John focuses largely on functional, full range exercises that feel good, promotes day to day wellness, and inspires an overall joy in movement. He believes wellness works from the inside out and implements bespoke training programs to ensure he brings out the best in his clients.
