Danai holds an MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) with Distinction from King’s College London and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Bristol. She is a registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Her academic background provided a strong foundation in human physiology, anatomy and evidence-based practice, shaping her analytical and science-led approach to rehabilitation.
Through her work within the NHS, Danai gained experience across Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Women’s Health, Acute Medicine and Neurology, strengthening her clinical reasoning and confirming her passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy. In addition, she has worked in well-established private sports medicine clinics, treating sporting injuries and supporting the rehabilitation of elite athletes.
Danai began her journey into Physiotherapy through her background in dance. Having trained as a dancer for 13 years, she developed a deep appreciation for movement, performance, and the body’s remarkable capacity to adapt and recover. Her curiosity extended beyond movement itself to understanding the body at its most fundamental level – from cellular processes to complex biomechanics. This desire to explore the science behind movement and injury ultimately led her to pursue a career in physiotherapy, where she could combine her passion for performance with clinical expertise.
Danai loves treating a variety of conditions and supporting clients through rehabilitation and long-term injury prevention. She adopts a patient-centred, holistic approach, focusing not only on relieving symptoms but on identifying and addressing the root cause of injury. Her treatment style combines hands-on therapy with structured, gym-based rehabilitation programmes grounded in objective assessment and exercise science. Influenced by her passion for Pilates, she places strong emphasis on movement quality, control and measurable progress – ensuring clients not only recover but return stronger and more resilient. She is committed to creating supportive and motivating environments where clients feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside the clinic, Danai spends her time travelling, chasing the sun, and staying active through her Pilates practice.
