Graduating with a BSc. in Physiotherapy in 2018 at the University of East Anglia, Joe hit the ground running by starting his career in a private clinic in South London.

Joe developed his knowledge of the body through a passion for manual-therapy. He has worked with athletic teams, swimmers and boxers early-on in his career, which naturally evolved to pitch-side physio; from the running of school Rugby clinics to touring internationally with England Lacrosse. These experiences provided Joe with the opportunity to solve complex injuries and work with a variety of sporting abilities and ages.

Through treating patients for five years as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in a private setting, Joe has gained invaluable experience and an excellent reputation amongst sports doctors and consultant surgeons.

Having worked at a Sports Orthotist clinic specialising in knee, ankle and foot pathologies, Joe developed a profound understanding of walking patterns/lower limb postures and the impact altered biomechanics can have on the rest of the body. This lower-limb focus has progressed to becoming respected in the sports-medical community for his treatment of anterior knee pain and complex multi-ligament injuries.

Joe’s goal with every patient is to look beyond the initial symptoms and find the root of the problem. By treating the body as one and identifying all of the intricate interactions and underlying factors, he curates a unique and goal-orientated treatment plan tailored to each individual’s needs.

A desire to be at the cutting edge of the field has led Joe to attend several specialist courses and lecture in sport rehabilitation modules at the University of East London to help inspire the next-generation of physiotherapists.

Outside of the clinic and lecture hall, Joe channels his energy into general strength and conditioning, as well as spending time with friends and outdoor pursuits such as beekeeping and hiking.
