All sporting injuries, but particularly running, indoor climbing and gymnastics. Georgios has a special interest in knee, neck and lower back pain, biomechanical assessment, as well as workstation related injuries and tension headaches.

Bio:

Georgios is a registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE).

Since graduating as a Physiotherapist from the Alexander Educational Institute of Thessaloniki in 2011, he has gained valuable experience treating a wide range of simple and complex musculoskeletal injuries at both sports clubs and private clinics.

In Athens, Georgios gained clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient departments, collaborating with senior orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and sports physicians. He has treated people from a range of different backgrounds including Olympic athletes and professional athletes form a number of sports including football, basketball and water polo.

A keen sportsman himself, Georgios spent ten years as a gymnast before developing an interest in weight-training, high-intensity workouts, skiing and tennis, with a particular passion for water-skiing.

Unsurprisingly, given his professional and personal background, Georgios has a particular interest and a depth of experience in treating sporting injuries, specialising in running, football, tennis, indoor climbing and gymnastics. He has a special interest in knee, neck and lower back pain, biomechanical assessment, as well as workstation related injuries and tension headaches.

Georgios believes in a combination of hands-on treatment and an evidence-based exercise program. He uses a variety of treatment options including Trigger Point Release, Joint Mobilisation, Taping, Dry Needling, and Exercise Rehabilitation. He provides a holistic approach, finding and treating the main cause of the injury, rather than focusing on single symptoms.
