Emily graduated from King’s College London with a First Class Hons degree in Physiotherapy.
She has a breadth of experience that working clients of all ages and abilities. From supporting with elite runners and cyclists at a sports performance clinic to working as a specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at Guy’s Hospital and at St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where she found that Pilates-based exercises were an excellent tool for rehabilitating patients with pain and discomfort from a multitude of causes, as well as helping restore mobility and function.
Emily is also a Physiotherapist at Ten, leveraging her knowledge of physiotherapy and biomechanics to ensure that her classes are both rehabilitative and beneficial for the development of a strong and mobile body.
With a background in dance and passion to make exercise accessible to all, her classes are upbeat, high-energy, fun and varied. No matter how dynamic and challenging the session Emily maintains a clear focus on technique and control to develop strength and posture, and to build an overall healthier, balanced and more supple body.
Keen to practice what she preaches, Emily practices Pilates in her spare time, or swaps the reformer for a bicycle – she’s also a keen long distance cyclist.
