Fin is passionate about finding the right method of recovery for everyone. Through the combination of communication and feedback with his clients and his anatomical understanding, he creates recovery plans tailored for each individual.

Fin’s interest in rehabilitation began in response to watching his father’s recovery from a severe spinal injury.

He went on to study an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, learning the anatomical fundamentals and biomechanics behind how and why the body moves and works. In this time, he specialised in supplementation around high intensity training, looking at performance and GI distress.

Following his undergraduate degree, Fin pursued his passion for rehabilitation, focusing on improving movement quality and performance in athletes. He gained Level 4 Sports massage and is currently working towards his Masters in Sports Rehabilitation.

During Fin’s studies his interest shifted to a more holistic approach, looking at how the body moves as a whole. This led to a desire to work with a wider range of individuals, with the goal to improve quality of life through movement and massage, whilst maintaining his dedication to improving performance in high level athletes. He spends time in clinics and hospices working with clients with varying injuries and discomfort, alongside dancers, boxers and endurance runners.

Using what he has learnt in his studies Fin has followed the motto “practice what you preach”, using rehab methodologies and protocols on himself to recover from chronic issues caused by an injury-prone sporting career in his teens.

This rehab journey culminated in him successfully completing the London Marathon in 2021 alongside other endurance events such as Triathlons and long-distance cycle events – something he was told would never be possible. His physical improvements have allowed him to pursue his passions of boxing and surfing. His favourite surf spots are Cornwall and Hossegor (France) and he loves to end the day with some hot and cold therapy in the ice bath and sauna.
