- Bachelor Physiotherapy – Australian Catholic University, Queensland, Australia
Registered member of the Health and Care Professions Council.
Kate graduated from the Australian Catholic University in 2013. She spent the next three years working in a private practice in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, gaining valuable experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, with a client-base ranging from paediatrics through to geriatrics.
Having moved to London in 2016 to join the Ten Health and Fitness team, Kate works in both St James’s and Little Venice Studios.
Kate believes in building bespoke programmes for all patients. She has a strong manual therapy background and enjoys taking a hands-on approach. By combining joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy with expert biomechanical correction and exercise-based rehabilitation, she is able to target the cause as well as the symptoms of her patients’ problems, getting them pain free and fully functioning, fast.
Kate has completed post-graduate training in Mat Pilates, which she utilises in her rehabilitation programmes, targeting improvement of her patients’ spinal stability and posture.
Although Kate has worked on all areas of the body, she has a particular interest in the management of lower limb injuries and lower back/neck pain management.
She has a personal interest in netball and surf sports that helps her not only to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, but also gives her a better understanding of what it takes to avoid and treat sports-related injuries.
