Shaq studied Physiotherapy at the University of Salford where he developed a strong interest and passion in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Shaq completed his clinical placements in a variety of hospital settings as well as at the world-class Manchester Institute of Health and Performance. Shaq was able to complement his clinical experience by working with a running group and in semi-professional football, in order to deepen his understanding of sports physiotherapy. Since graduating in 2021, Shaq has worked in elite environments, consistently delivering high-level care to patients using principles of sports medicine, manual therapy and exercise prescription.

Initially, Shaq worked in a busy London clinic on Harley Street, specialising in sports related injuries and post-operative rehabilitation. Shaq has more recently been working at a rehabilitation and performance facility for footballers, providing physiotherapy for players from academy to international level. Shaq’s passion is in sports, and particularly running related injuries. He has accumulated vast experience in gait analysis and gait reeducation, exercise prescription and programming to enable runners to meet their training goals. This passion translates out of Shaq’s professional life as he is a keen runner himself. Shaq has completed multiple marathons and competed for his age group in the Obstacle Course Racing World Championships. Outside of work, you will likely find Shaq running around South West London, watching or playing football.
