Originally from New Zealand, Tessa completed her studies there in 2013 and soon moved to Melbourne, Australia, to work in a number of busy private practices, gaining years of experience treating a wide range of ages and conditions. During this time, she trained in both DMA and APPI Pilates as well as Dry Needling.
After taking some time out to travel through South and Central America, Tessa settled in the UK in 2017 and began work in Sports Physio clinics across both Manchester and London. She treated clients from all walks of life, from high end athletes to weekend warriors and even families.
Outside her in-clinic experience, she has also worked alongside rugby, netball and hockey teams providing sideline physio, and has also spent time in office spaces to assist with ergonomics and offer postural advice.
Tessa’s treatment approach is to first look at the whole body complex. From there, she uses manual therapy in combination with exercises and Pilates practice to form a long term solution for her client’s injury or dysfunction, and work towards their individual goals.
Outside of work Tessa loves to travel and explore new places, as well as trying as many different restaurants and cafes as London has to offer!
