Bio:

Having led an active life since his early twenties, Dev noticed that his regular regimen of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Cycling and Yoga began to ease his long-suffering Asthma symptoms.

His journey into the world of bodywork and massage began after receiving a Shiatsu Massage, and wanting to learn more about the human body and its healing systems and how to keep the body fit, strong, healthy and supple.

Since then he has gained a Level 5 BTEC in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy at the renowned North London School of Sports Massage – currently the highest level massage qualification in the UK. He also holds a Diploma in Thai Yoga Massage from Metta College, where he now works as a teacher.

Dev’s expertise in both Eastern and Western massage styles gives him a considerable repertoire of techniques to bring to each treatment session, whether that’s to help your body recover from strains or injury, or to help you unwind and cope better with the stresses of daily life.

Having led an active lifestyle himself, as well as spending time working at a desk in a challenging office role, Dev has first hand experience and understanding of the pressures and stresses of both environments – and their impact on the body.

As a result he’s better able to stand in his clients’ shoes, whatever their walk of life, and to work with and assist their bodies with recovery.

Dev undertakes regular and continuous professional development to learn new techniques. He has also volunteered at the London Marathon and with Crisis, the homeless charity.

When he is not carrying out treatments, he spends a lot of time playing guitar and singing. He’s also a keen gardener, growing his own organic food.
